Being "Punk Rock".
Girls at my school make such a big deal about being unique and different. I think music is a universal thing. It's better when you can connect with other people about. Don't pigeonhole people's personality a based off what they listen to.its not like you favorite band member is going to choose you based off of how many Nirvana songs you can recite off the top of your head. It bothers me, because I want to wear band shirts, and have cool lyrics and logos of used that I enjoy, but people are really judge mental. I've never really been pushy with music taste until this year. I've started wearing band shirts and talking about music artists I like. If people don't like them, no biggie. If thus do, we can connect and have a conversation. None of the bands or singers I listen to are particularly "edgy" or "alternative".
Anyways, first rant. I'm not sure anyone will actually read this. Eh, it will be therapeutic for me.
