She leaned in, giving him a sultry gaze, her eyes gleaming forced and unshed tears, in hopes of luring him into her plan and manipulating him straight into her trap. Men liked those, women who were vulnerable, women who can't help but run into their arms; living out men's fantasies of rescuing a damsel in distress when they aren't worthy of calling themselves 'princes'.
But she'd always play their game. And she'd always win.
He looked at her for a moment. Rudely enough, his lips curved upwards, then he smirked. And as if pushing his luck, he chuckled and full on laughed at her. Leaving her confused as she lost her composure, forgetting the role she was supposed to play.
After what it seemed hours, he then calmed down, looked at her menacingly, as if weighing his options of what to do to her after the stunt she just pulled. In the end, he just shook his head and were as if defeated by his own thoughts. He did nothing but simply laid his head on her shoulder.
"After 6 years, you still can't fool me. And of course," She can feel him smile. She can hear it in his words. "You're still this tenacious."
