And today, it just so happened that it was Freddy's birthday.
Freddy Freeman always knew he wasn't the most attractive boy in town, but that didn't stop him from getting his hopes up.
However, that all crumbled to pieces when he saw the big '3' plastered across his forehead.
Freddy sighed, walking out of the bathroom.
When he stepped into his room, he was met with the sight of Billy looking through his superhero comic collection. Upon hearing the familiar tap tap tap of Freddy's crutch, Billy looked up and noticed the look on the boy's face.
"Hey, Freddy! You turn 16 today, right? Did you see your number?" The brunette asked. Freddy's eyes immediately shot up to look at the taller boy's bangs, which covered up a bold '9'.
