𝐷𝑜𝑛𝑡 𝐹𝑜𝑟𝑔𝑒𝑡𝐴𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑀𝑒

Roni's POV:
Last night Aaron didn't call me. I figured I'd wait but nothing ever happened so I fell asleep.
He called me at three in the morning hungover. I could tell he was. It annoyed me that he was so careless. And who knows how many drinks he had.
After work, I go into the kitchen and fry some chicken and cook some rice.
I pour some soda in my cup and sit at the table.
I scroll through my phone when Aaron calls.
"Hey! How was the first meeting?" I ask.
"It was good. The CEO really likes me."
"That's good. I mean you do have a charm."
"What are you eating?"
"Friend chicken and rice."
"Mmm, lucky. I wish I was there to eat with you."
"I wish you were here to." I frown.
He gets a notification and goes on paused.
"Who you texting?"
"Al-alin."
"Who's Alin and why did you stutter."
"He's an employee in the office over here. We met before the meeting."
"Oh, that's nice."
"Babe, I have to go to dinner with my co-workers. I'll text you?"
"Oh yeah. Bye."
"Love you bye!" Then he hangs up.
I sigh and put on some YouTube videos.

Aaron's POV:
Okay I lied to Roni about the Alin thing but she would get jealous if she new I was texting Alice.
I didn't lie about the dinner but I invited Alice since she's all alone at her house since she moved her mom to a nursing home.
I walk down. I see Alice and wave at her.
"Hey!" She says.
I give her a side hug.
We walk a few blocks and arrive at the Restaurant.
"Hi guys!" I greet everyone and sit.
Alice sits next to me.
"Let's take a group picture." Logan says.
We huddle up. I don't feel alices head pressed up against mine.
"Okay, that ones nice.

After dinner, Alice Offers to walk me back to my hotel room.
"So, hows your mom?"
"Well, she refused to go to the home but I called her before the dinner and she's enjoying it so far."
"That's nice."
"How are you?"
"I'm good. I had a headache earlier."
"So, I wanted to ask you something. It's totally okay if you say no."
"Okay."
"If you don't have any plans tomorrow, do you wanna go on a date?"
"Oh. I don't think I told you this but I have a- girlfriend."
"Oh." She looks at her feet.
"But it doesn't have to be a date, it could be like, friends hanging out." (Friendzoned 😬)
"S-sure!"
We walk up to my door.
"I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah."
I think a second. Then I go into the room.
I plug my phone In and plop on the bed. I begin drifting off to sleep when I realize I should probably FaceTime Roni.

Roni's POV:
I get out of the shower, wrap the towel around me and grab my phone.
Incoming FaceTime from Aaron...
I answer.
"Hey!" I say.
"Hey Roni. How are you?"
"Good. Just got out of the shower, how about you? Oh! How was the dinner?"
"It was good. The food was good but I'd rather have your food."
I smile at his comment.
I get a notification from Aaron's Instagram. Okay yes, I'm logged into his Instagram,  it's only cause I post some things on there to prank him, but he also knows I am and he doesn't mind.
I check and see what it is. I examine it and smile when I see his face. That quickly fades when I see a girl beside him leaning her head on his.
"Umm.. Aaron? Who is the girl in the picture your tagged in?"
"Oh! Um- that's Alice. I met her at the party."
I feel a rush of jealousy. That's my boyfriend.
"She works with you guys?" I ask.
"No, she was at the bar that night. I invited her to the dinner."
"So, none of your co-workers new her before tonight?"
"I guess."
I go back on th FaceTime. I think he knows I'm annoyed.
"Are you mad?"
"Not mad, well maybe a bit. But I won't be like one of those people that are like, you should of told me you we're talking to her! I'm pretty sure you meant nothing by inviting her just being... nice, unless?"
"Yes! I invited her cause she just put her mom in a nursing home and she was lonely so I felt bad."
"Hold on, I need to put on my shirt." I place the phone so it's facing the ceiling and I put on my shirt. I go Into the bed and wrap myself up in the blankets.
"I think it's time for you to go to bed." Aaron says.
"Noo! Stay on FaceTime with me!" I yawn.
"Okay, goodnight."
"Goodnight."
I close my eyes and start to drift off to sleep.

Roni found out about Alice 😬 but at least she's being supportive? Tell me your thoughts! Until next time! -Author
