chapter 22

Pin's POV

I woke up before Zoe I quickly got out of bed and wrote a note to her saying I had to go home. I had something planned but I couldn't do anything with Zoe around. Once I got home I went into my room so my dad wouldn't hear what was going on. I grabbed my phone and found Zoe's dad's number. I started getting nervous I clicked the call button and listened to it ring.

(D for Zoe's dad and P for Pin)

D- Hey Pin what's up

P- Well I have a question I want to ask you about Zoe

I heard her dad say ok so I went and continued

P- Ok so I wanted to ask your permission to marry your daughter

the line went silent for a second and I could hear him calling her mom over. I couldn't hear what they were saying but then I heard the phone be picked back up.

D- well I discussed it with her mother and we have both agreed to give you our permission to marry our daughter.

P- thank you so much Mrs. and Mr. Phillips

We hung up the phone as soon as we hung up I got a text that said Zoe's ring size. The text said that she was a 7 and that she also liked small and simple rings. I responded with an Ok and a thank you. 

I walked out of my room and found my dad in the kitchen cooking lunch. I walked over to him and decided to ask his help with ring shopping. 

"Hey dad can I talk to you" I seen him turn around 

"Yeah sure what's up Pin" he responded

"well I just got off the phone with Zoe's dad. I asked his permission to marry her" he then interrupted me

"Wait your asking Zoe to marry you" I nodded my head nervously and then I seen a smile form on his face

"ok continue" he said 

"well anyway I was wondering if you could help me pick out a ring for her".

"yeah sure let's have some lunch and head into town" I smiled and we ate

In town  

we got to the jewelry store and we were looking around I got to the other side of the ring section and seen the perfect ring. I showed my dad and he agreed that it was the perfect ring. I bought the ring and went home to plan the engagement for tonight.

Zoe's POV

I haven't been able to get a hold of Pin all day and I was starting to wonder if something was wrong. I went to the stables to try and find him I told my Gramps where I was going and headed out the door. 

Once I was at the stables I seen Raven out of his stall so I walked over to him. I seen a a piece of paper tied to his saddle and opened it to see what it said.
