Chapter 15

"Kookie, do you think that this is really the end of everything that had happened? Isn't everything going a little too smoothly? Does this author even know how to write a damn story?" Taehyung asks. Jungkook just shrugs as they walk down the pavement towards the convenience store.

It seemed so empty suddenly with so many lives being wiped off the face of earth after several bombings due to Kenny. "I don't appreciate such silence." Jungkook mutters as they push through the door to a completely empty store except for the cashier who seemed to be called in last minute.

They walked towards the aisle to get their items and went to the counter to get their things checked out. It was quick since the boys didn't get much and they weren't playing a fool in the store like they would usually.

They paid for their stuff and left the store. The streets are still empty which was weird because there is suddenly a shadow walking towards them.

The shadow wasn't as tall as they are, they had shoulder length hair and clearly not a force to be messed with. There seems to be a gadget belt attached to their waist.

Jungkook and Taehyung just ignored the person and walked past them, however was attacked by the very shadow they walked past.

"Ouch! You son of a bitch!" Taehyung pulled out his knife and slashed the person in the arm. The attacks stops for a while but continues.

Jungkook pulls out his gun and shot the person in the leg and arm. The two boys ran all the way back to the office, continuously looking back to make sure that they weren't followed. They ran inside the building and closed the doors.

Sweat running down their necks, shock clearly written on their faces.

"What is going on?" Hoseok happen to walk out and see the state of his friends.
