Everything was going perfectly. Marcus's phone was sat up, the camera on and recording, and on top of the door sat a yellow plastic bucket, full of green slime. Any minute now, Marcus's teacher would walk through the door and be coated in the slime. As the doorknob jiggled, everyone who was in the classroom sat up straight, heads snapping towards the door. Marcus smirked as the door began to open, revealing, not the teacher, but instead the boy Marcus had a crush on, Jésus . The plastic bucket tipped over, sending a waterfall of green slime down on the poor unsuspecting boy in the doorway. Laughter erupted throughout the entire room, only a few students had the look of sympathy on their faces. Marcus felt kind of bad for laughing, but the look on his crush's face was priceless. Trying to stop his laughing, Marcus coughed a few times, wiping the tears from his eyes, and looking up at Jésus . The boy still stood there, his face bright red, green slime covering his clothes and head. His gaze was set on Marcus , a dark glare that made Marcus shiver slightly.

Marcus was on edge the rest of the day, knowing his crush held grudges. He jumped at the slightest of noises and had a hard time falling asleep that night. By the time Marcus had gotten to school the next morning, he had almost forgotten about the previous day's events, however, as soon as he entered the front doors, a wave of panic set over him as he felt like he was falling, which he realized was because he was, in fact, falling, face down on the hard tiled floor of the hallway. Marcus groaned and sat up, rubbing his hurt nose, eyes slightly widening as he felt liquid. He pulled his fingers away, seeing blood on them. "Great. A nose bleed, just what I needed this morning." Marcus said to himself sarcastically. He stood up, turning around to see nothing that he could've tripped over, meaning one of two things happened. Either Marcus was extremely clumsy today or this was Jésus 's revenge towards him. Either way, Marcus decided to get Jésus ack. -- As soon as Marcus got home, he started working on the perfect revenge. He had gone to the dollar store and bought a bunch of realistic plastic spiders, some fishing line, and some tape. He got to school early that day, immediately going over to Jésus 's locker. He had securely tied the spiders to the fishing line, tying the other side of the line to the door and taping the spider to the back of the locker, with enough tape so they would stay, but not so much that the prank wouldn't work. Marcus smirked. Now all he had to do was hide and wait. And boy, it was worth it. As soon as Jésus opened his locker, several realistic fake spiders flung out at him, earning a girlish screech from the boy as he fell backwards. Laughter erupted in the hallway, all eyes on him, however it was Marcus who laughed the loudest. -- Later that same day, in the middle of class, Marcus got bored, as usual, and quietly pulled out the can of Pringles he kept with him. He opened the lid, making sure to hide it from his teacher's view. However, life wasn't on his side, as several snakes jumped out at him, making him fall backwards in his chair in shock, landing uncomfortably on his back, still in his chair, almost everyone laughing at him. Marcus glanced over to see Jésus with a smirk on his face as he ate one of Marcus's Pringles. Marcus glared darkly at him. Now Jésus had crossed the line. He could mess with Marcus all he wanted, but no one messed with his precious Pringles.

Marcus had a huge plan for this day. First off, during his first class, he made sure to sit in the desk beside Jésus. Halfway through, he 'accidentally' dropped his pencil and tied Jésus's shoe laces to his desk leg. It had been hilarious watching him try to untie the triple knotted shoe lace, causing him to be late to his next class. After that, he taped a sign saying 'Poke Me' to Jésus 's back while passing him in the hallway. Jésus's confused face as he was constantly poked for the next hour was also hilarious. Before lunch, Marcus snuck into Jésus 's locker and shook his soda bottle. At lunch, the bottle practically exploded, covering Jésus 's entire shirt and his food. Marcus opened his own soda bottle, thankful his crush hadn't had the same idea as him when the bottle didn't explode, however, he did spit the soda out in shock when it didn't taste like soda, but soy sauce instead. After that, the pranks seemed to die down, thankfully, but they hadn't completely stopped, Marcus found that out when there was a growing wet spot on his left leg, in his pocket. Confused, He reached into his pocket, pulling out a melting purple popsicle. For the rest of the day, he smelled like a grape popsicle.

That night, Marcus had come up with an incredible idea. He and his crush had been pranking each other all week, so now would be the perfect time to confess, right? If Jésus liked him back, then Marcus could ask him out, and if he didn't like him back, then Marcus would say it was a prank and cry on the inside. Perfect and flawless plan, right? So Marcus stayed up until midnight, writing love letters, and signing all but one of them anonymous. He had written five of them, with the help of Google, of course, and went to bed. The next day at school, Marcus stuck the notes in several places he knew Jésus would open during the day. He taped one to the door of his locker, put one in his lunch, and slipped one into his math text book. Three down, two to go. Marcus was raking his brain for more spots to put the rest of his love notes, when he saw Jésus take his jacket off and set it on the back of his chair. With a smirk, Marcus 'accidentally' dropped his pencil like he had a few days ago, taking note of the way Jésus oved his feet away from his desk. As he got up, he slipped a note in the pocket of his crush's jacket. Later that day as everyone was starting to head home, Marcus walked up to Jésus , saying nothing, but handing him the fifth love letter, the one he signed, and walked away. Before he even made it ten feet away, he heard rapid footsteps behind him, almost as if someone was running at him, causing him to turn around, only to be tackled to the ground in a hug. "I like you, too."
