PHOEBE WAS TERRIBLE AT KEEPING SECRETS. And everyone knew that. It was a wonder that she could keep your powers and family's a secret. So when Max had accidentally let it slip that he liked you and Phoebe heard,he knew he messed up. He had asked for a tutor in (p/c) the teacher had put him with you. Truthfully,he was actually good in that class but had started to let it fall so he could ask for you as a tutor.
And that's what you whew doing at his house,tutoring him. When Phoebe walks in. "Max,I think you should ask (y/n) out. You like-oh (y/n)! When did you get here?"
Max glared at Phoebe,when she gestures to the stairs. "I'm gonna go. I'm so sorry."
Max turned to you,smiling. "Since it's out,want to go out?"
You smiled. "How about,I give you an answer when we finish. Because Phoebe is listening in,maybe we can our wait her."
Max smiled,nodding his head and once you went back to your book,Max glared at where Phoebe his on the stairs mouthing 'leave'.
