Jim Gordon when you had gone on a rant,trying to explain many things at a time. "I'm just saying! It makes sense! Also,why do people like pineapple on pizza? Like,what the hell? You wierdos! I mean,it's not as bad a mushrooms....oh,that reminds me of a joke. So,what room can you not walk into?"
Jim raised his eyebrows,looking at you as if you were crazy. And instead of answering,asked a question of his own. "When was the last time you slept?"
You looked at him,for a moment,not knowing what to say before making a face. Which was a face of which Jim learned you were hiding something. "That's irrelevant!"
And in the back of your head,the reasonable and responsible part of you had answered ,your mouth opening and answering as well. "Last weeks Monday."
"Are you crazy? Go to sleep!" He was quickly to try and get you to sleep,you just thinking of how you spoke without meaning to. "You know,it now a lot of sense why that woman flipped me off when I 'thought' that comment of her."
"Go go sleep."
You quickly grabbed his hand. "Stay with me." He sighed,knowing you would continue to speak. But,he sighed again,defeated. "Only,if,you actually go to sleep." You smiled,rearranging the pillows and getting comfy.
