Heaven's P.O.V
I woke up to April right about to jump on me. "April! What the fudge!" I say moving out of the way before she jumped. "What, I was just about to wake you up to get ready for the sing off" she said as if it was okay to jump on someone to wake them up.
About an hour later of fitting into my dress and doing my hair and makeup I was ready.
"How do I look?" I asked April as I came out of the bathroom, when she saw me I swear she was just about to cry. "OMG!! YOU LOOK SOOOOO PRETTY!!!" April yelled. I laughed then checked myself out in the mirror. I did look pretty hot, but not alot. "C'mon, lets go show everyone!" April said and she lead me out the door.
Once again, an hour later of going around the entire building, April forcing me to show the other girls my dress, we headed back to our dorm. I laid on my bed the looked at the clock, 12:36. "Shit!" I said and sat up. "What?" April questioned. "I still gotta get a date!" I said and pulled out my phone. I pondered on who to ask, I decided to see if Joey said yes or no to Cocoa.
Me: hey
Joey: hai
Me: so, I saw you and cocoa yesterday..
Joey, yea, I know, listen I'm sorry about that. If it makes u feel better I said no...
My face lit up when I read that
Me: oh, okay, so I was wondering if you would go with me
Joey: I can't, I'm busy, sorry
Me: that's okay, I'll see you later then
Joey: okay, bai
Me: bye
After that I say there for a few mor minutes to see who I would ask next.
Me: hey
Thrasher: sup
Me: you wanna go to the sing off with me
Thrasher: ...
Me: don't worry, as friends
Thrasher: sure, what time should I pick up up?
Me: is 6:00 good
Thrasher: yep, see ya then
Me: bai
Thrasher: by
~•Time Skip•~
I looked at my phone, 5:32. Then I heard a knock on the door. I got up and opened it, it was Thrasher. "Hey dude, your 30 minutes early" I say. He looks down at the floor then coughs into his elbow. "Sorry Heaven, I can't go, I'm super.." before he could finish he coughs again, but more violently. "I understand. You should go back to bed" I say. He nods, gives me a slight wave then starts walking back to his dorm. I lean again the door frame and wave back. Once he's gone I go a sit on my bed. You know what? I'm not gonna let some guy stop me from having fun.
Date or no date, I'm going...
