A New Chapter (Literally!)

Asuna's P.O.V

Kirito and I talked about all our memories till everyone was out the house and in bed. Kirito smiled at me bringing our hands to be intertwined. I blushed lightly and smiled back.

Kirito: I-I can't believe you said yes..!

I looked at him strangely and scooted closer to him.

Asuna: Of course I would've said yes, dummy.. I love you..

Kirito's smile only grew as he brought me in a loving embrace. I giggled and let my head rest on his chest. He played with my long hair for a few minutes as we talked about our future.

Kirito: W-When do you wanna m-maybe get married?

I looked up at Kirito and beamed.

Asuna: I wanna get married soon! But not too soon.. I don't want us rushing things or anything! I just am so excited to officially b-be you're wife..!

Kirito: Ohhh, I see. So you can officially be Mrs. Kirigaya..

Asuna: K-Kirito!!

I yelped in embarrassment as he only chuckled with a cute grin on his face. I covered my face absolutely flustered.

Kirito: To be honest, I can't wait either, Asuna! I want to..start a new chapter of my life with you..so we can go on as many dates as we want! And I could see your beautiful face every morning.. and we can grow old together...

Kirito went on as I listened with an overjoyed expression. I love this man so much..!

Kirito took out his phone seeing the time and sighed.

Kirito: It's late.. we should go to bed..

I pouted not wanting to move from this position.

Asuna: Then we'll have to leave and furnish the home tomorrow.. why can't we stay here?

Kirito chuckled placing a hand on her cheek and caressing it softly.

Kirito: My beautiful queen, I would absolutely love for you to fall asleep in my arms, buuuut we have no bed— just this couch I set in last minute.

Asuna: Then, we'll sleep on the couch together!

I tried to insist gripping his shirt and a pleading way. He just smiled sadly and kissed my forehead. He stood and helped me up as we walked together to our houses. We were at the fork in the road where we would separate.

Kirito: Alright! Goodnight, Asu- oof!

I quickly pulled Kirito into a hug not ever wanting to let him go. I'm not crazy clingy or anything!! He's my fiancé.. what'd you expect?

I heard Kirito chuckle and pat my head adding a kiss on my cheek.

Kirito: I promise I'll come see you straight in the morning tomorrow!

I grumbled.

Asuna: You better!

He laughed as I slowly let him go with a small smile. He waved and walked away after giving me one last kiss. I waved back already missing him.
