I look over and saw Liam hiding nearby.

Crap.

"Seven, eight, nine,"

Here! Perfect they'll never find me here.

"Ten! Ready or not here I come!"

20 minutes later...

Are we still playing? I'm tired...

I kept dozing off every now and then. My head fuzzy then pitch black.

I disobeyed God. I helped out a monster back into the world out of love. He was locked up in the deepest depth of the underworld banished away by God himself and I left world above to find him. I rushed over to Ashton. His neck and limbs were chained from the wall at the very back.

"Ash...." I called terrified as I caressed his bloody face. "Noah..." he called back in pure shock. "How did you...?"

"We need to get you out of here," I interrupted. "We can't, it's hopeless. These chains are cursed with a spell that's never broken," he said breathing heavily. I grasped his cold hands worriedly.

He cupped my warm ones. "Tell me," he said in his husky voice, "how did you get here?" He asked worriedly.

"I left the upper world," I shamelessly said as his expression changed drastically. "Go back," he said as he left go of my hand.

"No, I—"

"Go back," I was shocked. "You know what God will do when you leave the upper world, go back before they find out that you're gone," He breathe heavily.

"I don't want them to hurt you too," he caressed my face with cold hands. "No, I am not and will not go back," I said with teary eyes, as I cupped his hand that is placed on the side of my face. "I will get you out of here," A tear slipped.

He breathed unevenly, "no, we can't go against him. We will always lose if we ever went against him—"

"But you told me that love's force is stronger than anything!" I exclaimed desperately. He gave me sad eyes as he turned away.

"No! I will stay here," I begged him as I hugged his back through the jail cell. I felt his heart beat against my hands then his big, cold hands covered it. He took small breaths before turning back around and caressing my face. "I love you," he said sadly.

"I love you too," I cupped his hands as I lean my head into it with a sad smile. He brought me closer as our lips touched. The shock between our lips were beyond explanatory.

We heard a crack. We both looked at the chains as they fell dissolved into sand as my eyes widened.

"True love broke the cure," we both said. So much hope then rushed into my body as he and I tried to yank the jail cell open. There were no doors. It was all fully secured made by the power Titans.

He pushed form his side and I pulled and yanked from mine. "Noah, move," he back away as his wings flung out and flew full force against the cell then it broke as he fell with it. He groaned from pain as I rushed over to help him.

"Let's go," he barely said as I helped him out of the cave. I remember my way in by his scent and the memories played in my head as I made our way out.

We just need to get to the portal.

I look from afar and plenty of guards flew here and there. "Fuck," I cussed under my own breath. "How fast can you fly?" Ashton suddenly asked.

"I'm not sure," I'm tired myself from carrying Ashton out of the long deep cave. "I can freeze theses idiots for 5 minutes, do you think you'll reach the portal in time?"

I examined him and he was worn out to the point that his powers can only grant him 5 minutes of anything. I challenged. "Yeah, I can make it," I said as he chuckled. "You're a bold aren't you," he commented jokingly as I stare at him in pure shock.

"This is no time for jokes," I said. "Yeah, yeah," he separate himself from me as he put his hands together and shut eyes. He groaned as his magic came out of him as he breathe in deeply and tiredly. He pushed his hands outward and everyone stopped. Ashton nearly fell but I caught him in time and flew with all my strength out and into the portal.

I made it!

The portal sent us into the mortal realm in some unknown forest. "We made it," he said as with a small breathy laugh as I put down slowly with a smile before hugging him. I felt his strong arms snake around to embrace me.

Finally...

I breathe in his scent deeply and my whole body shook. "I missed this," I whispered with a trembling voice. "Trust me, I miss this just as much as you do," He said.

"What do we do now?" I pulled away. "I don't want to go back," I added. He stayed silent and examined me. "Then," he started, "we run away together," he smiled his cocky smile and I never felt so happy. He extended his hand as I took it immediately with teary eyes. Then it dawned to me.

"What if they find us?"

"Then we'll keep running," he answered but saw that I wasn't having it. He caressed my face. "We'll keep running and running, because no matter what, they can't separate us. We'll go to a new town, travel the world in disguise, and live like everyone else. We'll get to live a life where you aren't an angel and I'm not a demon." I looked up with hope.

"I'll make sure of it." He smiled.
