He heard the sound of bags and he rushed out to the living room where his uncle had just entered with a whole bunch of groceries. Zayn's mom told Manny he shouldn't have to worry about bringing them groceries so often or worrying about them. And that he should find himself a wife but his response was a flirtatious one towards Zayn's mom. She offered him a coffee and he gladly accepted it and asked to talk to Zayn alone for a moment. She told Manny to to involve her son in anything weird. As Zayn and Manny left to the balcony Manny began to question about why they left the job him and Lauren had. All Zayn said was that bullets were flying around and that it wasn't their fault. Manny told him he had one job and he fucked up by not paying attention due to his stupid music being his center of attention according to Dominic. Zayn said that Dominic was just talking shit to make himself look good in front of him(Manny). Manny told Zayn to be careful with what he says because he could he in serious problems if he does a wrong move and then he wouldn't know what to tell his mom because her husband was killed and she would hate it for her only son to also end up dead. Zayn promised his uncle no more errors would be done on his part. And Manny was grabbing the back of Zayn's neck in a very tight way. But his mother came out with a drink that she promised Manny earlier. Manny began to laugh as they as if they were joking around about the word error.
Karla's POV I heard my mom call me for dinner many times, soon my dad came up and asked what was up with me. I told him I wasn't hungry, he asked me why? I told him about the girls at school, how they took my notebook of songs and made fun of them to everyone. He asked me if he could read them, I said yes and I explain to him my writing process. He told me that my lyrics reminded him of when he fell in love with my mom. He told me not to be upset about today because I was a great artist and I was different from everyone. And that the people that laughed were idiots, people who hurt you shouldn't destroy your dreams too. I told him I loved him and left in search of my dreams.
