Chapter 1
Long ago, there was a comet headed toward Earth. It landed on the surface and created a massive crater. On the asteroid there was a magical item and the cavemen who found it were killed upon immediate contact with it. As the years passed the mysterious item got buried in the sands of the Saharan desert. The crater got covered up by wind and water erosion. No one has seen the item in thousands of years; until now.

Haywood Christopher Jablomi was thief and a criminal. He moved from America to Algeria after high school. There he took up a life of crime. He became a well-known kidnapper who kidnapped children and held them for ransom. He was on one of his jobs, kidnapping the President of Algeria's son, or daughter, or nephew, or dog, or painting of his dog, when he was caught by Tim Burton, the director who wrote Coraline and the weird movie about the Frankenstein dog. Tim sold him over to the Algerian police and he was in a van heading to the prison in the middle of the Saharan desert when the van exploded and he was launched into the sand on the side of the road completely unharmed. But what happened to everyone else in the van? Stay tuned for Chapter 2.
Chapter 2
Haywood looked around at the huge sandy abyss he had been flung into. What just happened? he thought to himself as he dusted dirt off his perfectly unharmed body. He glanced back at the van, and noticed that it was practically in flames. Quick! I've got to get to the bus and see what happened! he decided. Haywood sprinted back to the van, eager to figure out what had to happened that caused him to be flung from a van. He opened the door and was hit with a wave of smoke. "Geez who's been juuling?" he thought aloud as he walked down the aisle. Haywood was not taken aback by the dead bodies in the slightest. He was used to the gruesome sight. After all, he had grown up in Compton with a single mom in a poor black family. ): Haywood began looting the bodies of the people in the van, searching for the most useful and practical tools that could help him escape while also keeping an eye out for sexy valuables. Haywood may have been the most merciless robber in all of Algeria, but he definitely had a soft spot for jewelry. Thinking he had struck it rich with this find, he grabbed an icy rolex off of the wrist of a wealthy businessman. It wasn't until he looked back down at the watch that he realized that the time was set 6 hours ahead, to Tokyo time! What was this strange Japanese man doing in Algeria! He questioned to himself. Haywood knew something a little fishy was up so he searched through the man's wallet to find more information. Out fell a drivers license marked with the name K.J. Un. Thinking the name sounded familiar, he pocketed the wallet and vowed to himself to figure out who this man was.
Chapter 3
But first, Haywood needed to pocket some of that money honey. He found three $20 bills in the wallet, and slipped them into his pocket. That's it? What a peasant. Then he continued to inspect the wallet and found an ID, with a picture of a supreme leader of North Korea on it. He looked at the name on the ID, which matched the one on the drivers' license that he had found, with the name K.J. Un on it. Underneath it he found the words "nationality: North Korean" written on it, and immediately it clicked. I know who this man is. It's my father! All of the memories came rushing back, the times he refused to play Minecraft with me, the times he refused to play Call of Duty with me, the times he refused to play Eshgozendagi with me, and the worst of all... the times he refused to feed me. But I knew that I needed to find this man, because I haven't seen him in the last 10 years, and I needed answers. Haywood immediately felt a rush of sadness overcome him, as he thought of the glory years of his childhood. Living without food for days at a time certainly was a challenge, but it made Haywood into a stronger man, for what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Although he did almost die the time K.J. Un refused to feed him for 3 weeks, but nobody's perfect. But Haywood still recalled the years of his childhood with a feeling of joy and was grateful to his father for shaping him into the man he was today. Without the unconditional support of his father, he would never be the thief he was today. And he would never have the icy rolex that he just took from the man on the floor. Haywood contemplated for quite a while whether to go searching for his father in North Korea or not, but he couldn't seem to decide whether he was ready to face his father again. All he knew was that if he did, he would have to bring a good amount of food for himself.
