Footsteps were made down a hall, not a hall she was use to. The halls she was normally used to were big, fancy tall halls. But these halls were small, basic and not as nice. But it didn't bother the little 9 year old. She stood in front of a door with her mother next to her. Her mother was in a hurry to drop her off. She had to get to D.C. very soon. Her mother knocked on the door and the door opened to a little boy, around her age, maybe a little bit older. He had curly brown hair, soft brown puppy dog eyes, slight tan skin, wearing a hoodie and jeans. A sudden grin plastered across his face when his eyes locked with her blue bell eyes. "Emma!" he exclaimed with sparkles in his eyes. Emma grinned, finally seeing her bestfriend after such a long time.
"Hi, Peter," she said before she hugged him. He hugged her back, tightly as Pepper smiled at them. Then Peter's Aunt May approached them.
"Hey, Emma," May said as Emma & Peter broke their hug.
"Hi, Aunt May," Emma said before Peter grabbed Emma's hand and dragged her to the couch, where they turned on the TV. Peter immediatly turned on the channel Tony was on.
"Again, thank you so much," Pepper said to May.
"Oh, it's not a problem. Ben & I don't mind. This is good for Peter. He's missed Emma so much. I haven't seen a grin on his face like that in such a long time. Emma makes him happy," May said and Pepper looked at Emma & Peter with a smile.
"How is he?" Pepper asked, looking back at May. Even though she had to be in D.C., she wanted to make sure he was alright.
"He's too young to really understand what happened but he's doing okay. Having Emma here is making everything better. She really brightens up everyone's faces, doesn't she?" May said and Pepper smiled.
"Yeah..Well, I better get going. And I'm giving Emma permission to be able to watch the news tomorrow morning. Tony wants her to be able to know current events, and not be hidden in the dark," Pepper said.
"Okay, that's fine," May said with a smile.
"See you," Pepper said before leaving and May closed the door.
"Are you as excited as I am for this?" Peter asked as he scrolled through the channels to get to the channel where the EXPO was being held live.
"I mean, not really. I watch these type of things all the time," Emma said and Peter looked taken back with his jaw dropped.
"How can you not be excited? It's Tony Stark!" Peter exclaimed and Emma gave him a look with one of her eye brows raised.
"Peter, do I have to remind you that he's my dad?" Emma asked and Peter slightly frowned, feeling embarrassed.
"Oh, right," he said before the channel went off of break.

He dismantled the suit while everyone started screaming and yelling in excitment to see their hero. "It's good to be back. You missed me?" Tony asked.
"Yeah!" Peter exclaimed in excitment back at his apartment and Emma looked at him with a smile.
"Blow something up!" a man in the crowd yelled.
