I was left alone with Stella who is sleeping on a cloth with bear skin over her. The fire was out and I'm worried about Devara. She was strange for a lady, she fights like a warrior which impressed me to no end. I got up and went towards the bear den to see her still standing facing the entrance."You really aren't going to sleep?" She asked me softly and gentle. She didn't even turn around to see who it was, which impressed me yet again.
"Worried about you." I told her causing for her to scoff and turn around fully.
"A Witcher worried? That's new."
"You make my kind sound like a bad thing. Why?" I asked her another question which she might really hate by the looks of it. Her long dark hair was pulled back to a ponytail and I couldn't make out her face. From the first time we met, I barely get the time to see it from even when there was a light from the cave.
"Personal information and you aren't qualified to know the answer." She stayed and I hugged in anger before making my way towards her and stood in front of her face. I looked at her face seeing bright blue eyes staring back at me. I began to feel the urge to kiss this lady, but I had to resist.
"Look lady, I just want to get to know you."
"Not a Lady. I'm a woman. I'm not those royal scumbags that sits up in their treasured palace all day." She turns around and crossed her arms again. I stood next to her and glanced at her way seeing her face. Words can't describe how beautiful she looks. Her almond colored skin reflects from the moon that was shining down inside the cave.
"Paint a portrait, it'll last longer." She said causing for me to look away from her. I felt my cheeks heat up a bit and I couldn't understand this feeling at all. I knew that Witchers don't feel anything, but...I always have an urge to do something to this woman that I usually do to other women, but to her it's different.
"I want to help. With whatever you and Stella are planning. I want to help." I told her and looked at her to see her looking at me before looking straight ahead again.
"Fine, you may help. Don't stop me from burning this town to the ground along with these filthy cannibals." She tells me and I nodded my head.
"Alright." I sighed in slight relief.

Devara tells me the plan. The two of us were alone inside the cave while Stella went back to her father to act like nothing was wrong, but I had a bad feeling about Stella.
"Bring your horse outside the Bear den cave. That way, we could use him as an escape." She tells me and I was about to say something when she raised her hand at me.
"Just go with the plan, Witcher. We don't have much on sunlight which is our only shot of doing this." She glares and I glared back before standing up and walking towards Roach.
"The wolves won't appear till sundown, so hurry." She tells me and I pulled Roach's leash.
"Come on, Roach." I mumbled pulling the leash towards the den. We got out of the cave as I tied Roach's leash on a branch. I began to walk back towards the cave when I stopped my tracks.
I didn't know why, but I tried to walk move forward to no avail. A figure walks out from the cave and I looked to see Devara smirking proudly.
"God, I wouldn't think that the Witcher will not only obey me, but fall into a trap." She says and I glared at her.
"Don't worry, it's not a dangerous one. I just blocked off the entrance to the cave after I found it. So, no one can enter inside even if they try to. I knew I had to lure you away, just in case." She tells me and I couldn't help, but chuckle softly. She's smart.
"Let me in." I told her only to see her roll her eyes at me and placed her hands on her hips.
"Sorry, can't do that. Why don't you leave this place and save yourself." She threw my sword outside the cave to my side and began to walk away. I tried to move forward again, but I backed away when I couldn't move at all.
"Devara, this is suicide. Just let me help!" I shouted, but she ignores me and disappears inside. I growled and grabbed a rock from behind me before throwing it towards the cave only to bounce from the entrance like there is a wall there.
I then remember the entrance that I went in yesterday and grabbed my sword from the floor and ran towards the entrance as fast as I could. I kept running without stopping to even catch a breath. Blood pump in my ears as I kept running. I stopped in front of the entrance and held my sword out as I walked in town again.
I see blood all over the place as I turnt a corner bodies lay from the dirt with blood pooling beneath them. Women and men lay before the dirt road with weapons that must seem to what they used. I hear a shout along with clashing as I ran towards the noise and stopped when a man was thrown out of the tavern to a wall of a house from across.
I watched as Devara walks out from the tavern covered in dirt and blood before turning her head towards me. We both looked at each other in the eyes as she sighs and swung her sword before facing me fully.
"You really don't follow orders at all." She looks at me with a blank expression as I took a step towards her.
"I can't leave a pretty lady behind to defend herself after all." I said to her making her groan and turn around walking away.
"For the last time, I'm a woman not a lady." She snarled as I followed behind her. We made it towards a big home and Devara turns to look at me as I nod my head indicating that I was ready. She slowly opens the door and walked in as I followed behind her.
It was awfully quiet inside and there wasn't anyone there except for an empty throne with two human head staked from each side. I looked at it with disgust as I heard a loud door slamming behind us along with chuckling causing for me to look and see two men blocking the entrance.
Humans began to appear as both me and Devara looked around seeing more of them coming out from the darkness.
"Well, well, well, looks like we have captured two pigs." A deep voice said causing for us to look and see a bulky man with short dirty blonde hair, large blonde scruffy beard that covers his mouth. He wears a worn out dirty fancy royal clothing and has a sword behind him that could be carried with two hands.
"You did well, my daughter." He congratulates as Stella walks out from the shadows with a smirk of pride and evil.
"Should have known you were a two-faced bitch." Devara snarls and went towards her, but I quickly stopped her by grabbing her wrist before she could make it worse.
"Oh, don't worry, it will all be over soon." Stella giggles as I glared at her.
"Daddy, can I have the Witcher? I'm sure he would be a tasty treat for me." She looks towards me with hungry eyes as I kept glaring at her.
"Sorry darling, I don't taste well." I told her making her roll her eyes.
"Don't worry, princess. You'll get the Witcher while we take this beautiful delicious lady." The man said looking at Devara like she was a meal which cause my blood to boil with anger.
