+ BROOKLYN —APRIL
❝I WOKE UP AT 6 GETTING READY FOR A LONG DAY OF SCHOOL.❞ My eyes stayed fixed on the celling wanting to once again sleep my problems away. But then I remembered my responsibility's and wanting to graduate on time and ended up in the steaming hot shower.
After going over my hygiene I stepped out the foggy bathroom with a white towel wrapped around me and was met with; Rashad my moms sorry excuse of a boyfriend.
"Look who it is, little tuff muff" he placed the cold beer to his lips taking a long swallow before smiling at me. I blinked back the creepiness in his strong groggily voice.
The one time I leave my clothes in my room he comes out of no where basically grilling me with hunger. I hated that my mom stayed with him— he was a drunk and druggy— plus had a wife at home.
I don't understand— him and Israel were in the same boat with there abuses to hardcore toxicity. But of course she chose to leave her blood son high and dry like some random on the street.
Of course, I think I loved my mother— I mean we all make mistakes right? Her's were just so much more harder to deal with and sometimes she could be real selfish.
