The Best Friends

Atlantis P.O.V

"And they lived happily ever after" I closed the storybook, and looked at my little cousin, Ava, sleeping. She was just 5 but she was terribly gorgeous. I slowly stood up and walked out of the room, closing the door behind me.

"Did she finally fall asleep?" Mark, my little brother, asked from the sofa.

"Yes," I sat beside him. He nodded and stood up, grabbing his coat.

"Mark Anastasio, where do you think you are going?" I blocked his way.

"I am going out with my friends."

"Oh no you aren't." I looked at him.

"But why?!"

"Cause I am in charge tonight, and I am older. You will listen to me." I stuck my tongue out.

"Oh come on! You are just 16, one year older than me!" He groaned, rolling his eyes.

"And? Mom and Dad know I am responsible." I laughed. "And I am not 16, I am 17 and I am going to be 18."

"Whatever, can they come over?" He asked, hope in his eyes.

"If they don't make noise" I sigh and I give in, I could never say no to him.

"I promise they wont," He smiled running to his room "I love you, you are the best!" I rolled my eyes and sat on the sofa again, I took my phone out of my back pocket and opened my whats-app. I had two messages from one of my best friend's Jaden Hossler, he is 19 but we have been childhood friends and he knows everything about me.

I stood up and walked to Mark's room, I knocked on the door and he opened smiling.

"They will be here any second now" He smiled.

"Yeah I wasn't here to ask for that" I rolled my eyes.

"Oh then?" He raised his eyebrow.

"Jaden is coming over to help me."

"With?" He smirked.

"Mark," I pushed his shoulder. "He is coming over to help me with you and your friends. I have never met them!?"

"Oh okay, cool." He winked "I will make sure that my ears don't lose their virginity."

"MARK!" I glared at him. There was a knock on the door and we both walked, him because he was expecting his friends, and me thinking it was Jaden. When the door opened, I came face to face with a smiling Jaden. He hugged me, and I hugged him back. Mark stood there smirking at us.
