Lukas sat in his nice house, the heating on full blast to keep himself from getting cold. It was a normal day at the Dane's place, and for once the house was quiet. But that's probably because of the fact that Mathias had gone to annoy Berwald or something, which Lukas didn't mind. He had the house to himself, free to do whatever he wanted.

He sat in the kitchen, sipping his coffee and reading the paper, and he honestly was surprised when he felt his phone buzz in his back pocket. Fishing the phone out of his back pocket and looking at it, Lukas could concur that it was the Dane himself who had texted him. Lukas groaned and opened the text to read it.

"Space is needed." Is what the text read, but still Lukas read it over a bit more to be sure. He didn't misread things. He was never one to make mistakes. Lukas locked his phone and slipped it into its place in his back pocket.

"Well then..." Lukas said as he stood up and poured his coffee down the sink. He rinsed out the cup before setting it in the dishwasher, and then proceeded to go to his closet to grab a coat and some nice boots. What? He wanted to look stylish because otherwise there's no need going out of the house. Gosh, don't judge.

Lukas locked up the house and got in his car, starting it up and automatically reached to turn off the radio. He wasn't really in the mood to listen to music in the car, but then again, he never listened to it unless Mathias was in the car. Shrugging it off, Lukas carefully backed out of the drive way and began driving. He knew where he was going, and though said person won't be too happy that he showed up without notice, Lukas didn't care. He just had to get out of the house. That house in particular.

The car drive was silent besides the radio. And Lukas would constantly change the radio station. Nothing sounded appealing to him or in his music taste, so Lukas just gave up and quit trying. Just when he thought he was relaxed with the music that was about to begin, his eyes shot open at the realization of the song.

"No." Lukas said. This song, he knew far to well, and it greatly pissed him off that it was playing. "Please, no."

She's my cherry pie! Cool drink of water, such a sweet surprise. Taste so good bring a tear to your eye! Sweet cherry pie~! ...

"I said no." Lukas said coldly as the memories the song brought back flooded his mind. He clicked the button on the steering wheel that changed the station and looked back at the road, this time more intently. Lukas relaxed as the song from the new station began playing, but then jumped as he recognized it.

I wanna see you run, anywhere you want. Never let the darkness hold you back. No fear of getting lost. I wanna see you fly, way beyond the sun. Anything your ever gonna dream, I pray that it will come...

"Stop it." Lukas clicked the button again and hoped for the best. But, to no avail, it was almost as if he couldn't win today.

Look around. There's no one but you and me. That here and now, the way it was meant to be. There's a smile on my face. Knowing that together everything that's in our way, we're better than alright...

He turned the radio completely off this time. The driveway of his destination was in sight and he sighed in relief. Lukas pulled up into the driveway beside the already parked car, getting out swiftly and walking up to the wooden door. He hesitated before barging in and heading down the small hallway that led to the living room, and from there, the kitchen.

As Lukas walked into the living room, he was stopped by a familiar voice.

"What are you doing here...?"

Lukas whipped his head around to see Emil sitting on the sofa with Mr. Puffin resting in his lap. Emil had a confused look on his face that instantly turned into sudden fear when Lukas shot him a death glare. Emil scooted back on the sofa and gulped as he watched his older brother walk into his kitchen.
