I was going to see what Tina was doing at a cave when I had a flashback of how I met my new sister.

As soon as I walked into the Apollo cabin (Apollo, who was supposedly my father), I was stopped by an arrow, that barely missed my head. I moved slightly to dodge the arrow. When my vision adjusted I saw a girl, standing in the direction of where the arrow possibly came from

"Hmm... you have quick reflexes, good job," she said,

"Sorry, but you almost KILLED me, and who are you anyway?" I shockingly replied,

"Well, like you I am a child of Apollo, and also the Head Counsellor of the Apollo cabin, My name is Gurnaaz. Also, I wasn't trying to kill you, just... testing, if I wanted to kill you, I would've done it long ago, probably when you arrived," she said.

She looked pretty I don't know umm... young to be a HEAD counsellor, I meant she looked like she was around 18 or 17, I'm not sure. Anyway, later we went training, It was in archery first with Gurnaaz (surprisingly she still trained, despite being a head counsellor) that's when I noticed her necklace, she only had one bead, and so far I've learned that 1 bead = 1-year meaning she had only been here for 1 year.

"You've only been here for ONE year, and managed to get promoted to head counsellor?" I asked, shocked.

"Well yes, you can achieve anything if you try. Now get back to it, or your weapon can be suspended, including your blades."

I followed her orders, I didn't want my weapons to be suspended, but then I looked over and saw Tina...she...well...

I heard lots of laughing when she tried to shoot but missed.

"Um," I looked over to Gurnaaz. "Why is everyone laughing?"
"Because!" Gurnaaz laughed. "She's still missing!"

"Uh..."

I didn't want to, but it actually became so unbearable that I burst into laughter too.

Anyways, after that, I was at my table, eating when I discussed things with Gurnaaz.

"So," I said as I ate my sandwich. "How do things work here?"

"What do you mean by that?" she asked.

"Like...do we get to talk to other people?"

"You mean people in other cabins?"

"Yeah."

"Not...really."

"Oh," I said.

When it was strawberry picking, Jack came up to me.

"How was your day?" he asked.

"Pretty good honestly," I answered. "Even though I almost got killed multiple times."

"Don't worry," Jack said. "There'll be more dangerous things."

"Such as?"

"Climbing wall, sword fighting, capture the flag-"

"How is capture the flag dangerous?" I asked.

"Well," Jack shrugged. "You'll see."

"Just tell me."

"Fine. It involves swords, weapons, bombs, most likely blood."

"So, capture the flag, but cooler?"

"I guess you could say that."

"Also, who's your godly parent?"

"Hades," he sighed. "What? Is that bad? I heard it was."
