{ chapter sixteen }

Cheryl's POV

Once i finished getting Vanessa dressed i put her in her toy room to play while i got dressed.

I got dressed into a simple red crop top with black leggings and a pair of black boots, I took Vanessa downstairs to the living room and saw Toni already dressed "Ready to go?" she asked grabbing her keys "Yep" I replied picking up Vanessa and taking her out to the car.

{ time skip to park }

Me and Toni sat on the bench as we watched Vanessa play with the other kids at the park "Babe I have to talk to you about something" Toni said looking at me "What is it?" I said worriedly taking her hand "I think we should have a little vacation, just me and you." she says smiling "I think that's a great idea babe..but who would look after Vanessa while we're gone" I said looking at Vanessa playing and then back at Toni "I could get Jug to mind her, him and Betty have two kids she could play with them." she says getting excited "Okay yeah if he and Betty don't mind." I replied smiling at her getting excited.

After a while of being at the park watching Vanessa play we went home.

"Mommy i'm hungryy" Vanessa said jumping on my lap "Mamas cooking dinner now sweetie" I replied fixing her long ginger hair "Ugh okay" she says going off to play again.

I went into the kitchen to see Toni "You okay?" I said hugging her from behind "Yeah I'm alright" she smiled and started to set the table "Vanessa dinner's ready!!" I yelled towards her toy room, she came running out sitting at the table.

We all started eating "This food is really good babe" I said to Toni "Yah is really good mama" Vanessa said stuffing her face with food, Toni giggled "Thank you both" she says continuing to eat.

{ after dinner }

Toni was putting Vanessa to bed while I got ready for bed, she came in already in her pajamas "Jug said he would be happy to mind Vanessa for us" she says smiling widely getting into bed beside me "Really?!" I said sitting up "Yes!!" she said grabbing my face and kissing me then pulling away "All of it is gonna be a surprise so no questions" she said laying down in bed, I didn't get to say anything before i realised she was asleep.

I cuddled up to her side drifting off to a sleep..
