Sicheng worked at a library, reading to the kids and entertaining them during the midday hours in the kids section.
When the kids were gone, he would organize the books and take care of the whole place with his coworkers. It was a fun job and he really liked it. He loved taking care of the kids and teaching them about all kinds of things they read in the books.

He was quite the introverted and shy person himself, which is why he loved working with kids. They were so lighthearted and accepting and they didn't think as complicated about subjects as adults do. Sicheng was in fact gay, and most of the kids didn't immediately gross out when he brought the subject up. The kids wouldn't always immediately accept the thought, but they would consider it in their minds and think about the possibilities and solutions.

In Sicheng's opinion, adults should learn from their kids sometimes.

Whenever Sicheng read a book that involved all kinds of love, he used the chance to teach the kids that it's okay to love whoever you want to love.

Sicheng had learned to accept himself over the years, he just wished society would too. He usually never tells anyone he meets about his sexuality. He just wants them to get to know him first, before immediately judging him.

So far, only his close friends Jungwoo, Ten and Aeyoung knew about his sexuality and accepted him. When he told them, they reacted so nice and understanding, he loved them. He was so glad to have such good friends, but he did miss something in his life.

He just wanted to love someone, someone more than a friend. He had never experienced that kind of relationship before, and he really wanted to. Sicheng had always thought he had so much love to give, he just never had the chance to actually express it to someone.

'Dong Sicheng!'

Sicheng was brutally ripped apart from his daydream as he heard his boss call out his name. He turned around and saw a very angry-looking, tiny fat man standing behind him. The way his boss stood, with his hands in his sides, made him look like a small fat gorilla. Sicheng had to keep himself from laughing at this sight. He coughed to hide his giggle: 'What is it, sir?'

His boss, mr. Jung Dohyuk, frowned his eyebrows even more and looked at him angrily: 'Haven't you seen the time? Its 11:59, your break is over! You better get your ass out of that chair and start getting the kids section ready before the children arrive! But, if you don't hurry up, I could also decide to just not pay your salary this month, it's not like you do much anyway. You should be very grateful for my kindness of hiring you. If I wouldn't have hired you, I don't think anyone else would have.' Mr. Jung smiled innocently at him and walked away.

Sicheng sighed and stood up, he was used to this kind of behaviour from his boss. Ever since mr. Jung found out that Sicheng was gay, he used it as an excuse to treat Sicheng like this. When Sicheng just started working for mr. Jung, 3 years ago, he was still really insecure about his sexuality. One time he googled some things about being gay during his break and mr. Jung somehow read his searching history and questioned him the next day. Sicheng couldn't lie anymore now, so he had to admit it.

Mr. Jung could bribe Sicheng to do anything, as long as he added that he would expose Sicheng's secret, Sicheng couldn't refuse. He didn't want his secret to come out to people of whom he didn't want them to know.

He also couldn't just leave this job. First of all, he needed the money to pay for his rent and he needed to save money so he would eventually have enough to finish his study of becoming a primary school teacher. Second of all, his boss would probably threaten him with exposing his secret if he left. Mr. Jung definitely needed Sicheng in the library, Sicheng did nearly everything there, while mr. Jung did nothing except thinking about what he was gonna eat for dinner. So let's just say he was quite stuck in there.
