Once Francis dm finishes making the transaction, the man helped us set the carriage up. We bought four horses and a carriage big enough for all of us. The carriage even had a place to put luggage, along with places for the servants to sit. It was amazing. However, it would have been a better experience if that man got off our back. "Thank you so much for everything" Francis looked to the man pleased. Trying to hold his smile up. "Hey listen, if you ever get tired of her...hehe, I do not mind taking her off your hands"
The man laughed to Francis about me. Treating me as if I was an object of some sort. Finally, the anger in Francis came out, in a calm scary way. "I am sorry but she is not an object for sale. The next time you make a lewd comment about my wife, I will personally rip your heart out, okay?" My eyes widened as Francis kept his smile up. It scared the man to the point where he backed up and left back into the shop. To be honest , it scares me too. I had never seen Francis so scary before. That should say a lot since we have been in wars against each other before.
"Miss England! We are back with everything" Liz tapped my shoulder. "Ahhh thank you, just load everything up and we can leave" I smiled. I looked over to Francis who was sitting in the rider seat of the carriage. The person who drives it basically. I took a seat next to him on the right and we were in silence. "Are you okay?" I asked. He turned to me happy as usually, the smile that was natural and pure. "Yes of course. I just don't like scum of men talking about you that way."
I nodded awkwardly , turning back to the road. "Well, at least we will be leaving soon" I laughed. He nodded along, still seeming mad, so I decided to check how the loading went. "How is everything going?" I asked. "Very well miss England. Your brothers took a seat in the carriage and we are about done loading." All four of them smiled at me. They were the sweetest people in the world. "Okay great. There are seats for you all to sit so make sure to be comfortable" I smiled.
They finished packing the luggage and all one by one sat in their seats. "All ready ma'am" Liz smiled. I nodded at her and then sat in the front with Francis. We were so close to seeing Amelia and it was exciting. "Okay let's go, it is probably a four hour ride to the house" I touched Francis hand softly and he smiled at me. "Sounds good, maybe I can tell you stories" he laughed. "Oh god no, just drive" I demanded. "As you wish, miss England" he mocked in a seductive kind of way. He whipped the horses and they soon took off.
~house later (time skip)~
"Are we almost There yet?" Dylan asked. "Yes almost there, we are super close" I turned to the small window of the carriage to talk to my brothers. "Alright great, I want to get off and stretch my legs already" he whined. "Do not worry...we are almost there" I tried to tell him. However, he continued to whine like a child. "How about now?" He asked. "No, just calm down" I said annoyed. I looked at Francis who was laughing at my annoyance. He was as worse too sometimes. I looked around the area and finally saw the mansion of the house."Are we there yet?"
"Yes!!!!!" I smiled with glee. I was finally going to see my dearest Amelia. Everyone breathed out In relief as Francis stopped the carriage in front of the house. I quickly jumped out, as everyone around me jumped out as well. The servants rushed to assist the horses while my brothers decided to wait by the carriage. "Let's go Francis" I cheered with excitement. "Oh calm down" he laughed. I kept trying to pull him, until I finally gave up on dragging him along. I soon ran to the steps of the house quickly."Amelia!!!??" I called. I knocked on the door and the strangest thing happened. It was open and unlocked. "What?" I said. I peeked into the house and no one seemed to be there. "Amelia?" I called out more, but no answer. I slowly stepped in the house ready to fight trouble. This kind of setting is not the right kind. I felt that there was danger. I looked around the living room and noticed the fire place.
"The ashes, they are fresh...maybe two hours ago" I bent down checking them. She was here not too long ago. There was an open newspaper, tea that was not even finished and cake too. "Where are they?" Francis asked stepping in the house. "I have no idea, but they were here two hours ago." I shrugged. I placed my hand on my hips trying to think. Where would she go? It was a weekend , and she loved doing nothing on weekends. She has to be on the property somewhere. "Look England! It is Madeline's coat. They have to be still here. She would not leave without it" he was right. " I do not like this, what if something happened to them?"
"Just calm down for a second please" Francis walked over to me and tried to get me to sit down. However, I just started to pace around the room. "I need to find them. My girls! What if they are hurt?" I felt tears coming up as I looked at Maddies' coat that was left behind. Francis sat me down on a seat. As my brothers soon walked in. "Whoa! Are you okay? What happened?"Allistor ran over to me scared. "She is fine....the girls are missing" Francis explained.
"Missing? Are you sure?"
"Yes, there are just little clues. They couldn't be far , we should check the property first" Francis started to talk to my brothers as I started to daze off. My babies...where have you gone?~~~~~~~~~~~~~
