"Eddie bear, you forgot your second inhaler," Sonia yelled out to her son. "Coming mommy."

The brunette walked over to his mom, his beautiful glossy brown eyes starring up at her as she handed him his inhaler. The red inhaler glistened up at him as he carefully stuffed it into his fanny pack with ease. He grabbed his backpack and started to head out for school when his mother called out to him.

"Eddie aren't you forgetting something else?" Eddie sighed, walked up to his mother and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Oh and Eddie bear don't forget to-" "I know take my pills before school, and be careful." She smiled at her son and waved him goodbye. He quickly got out of the house and started to speed up his walking. As he got to town he pulled out his secret walkman and played the song Africa by Toto and enjoyed the views of Derry. Even though Eddie didn't understand the lyrics the sweet melody filled his ears and made him smile. He looked out into the park admiring the red, orange, and yellow leaves falling from the trees. He looked at a couple holding hands, walking, soaked up in love. Man how Eddie craved to love someone like that. To be lost in their presence, whispering sweet nothings into each others ears, to feel sick to your stomach, but in the good way.

As he was admiring the sights before him, he bumped into someone. "Fuck," Eddie cried rubbing his head. "Shit, you really gotta watch where you're going next time." Eddie sat up and saw the raven haired boy on his knee's trying to find his glasses. "Here," Eddie said handing the stranger his broken glasses. "My moms gonna kill me if she has to replace these again," the stranger grumbled looking at the glasses that were once intact. "Shit, sorry let me help," Eddie motioned for them. The stranger gave him a weird look, then handed them over to the small boy. Eddie grabbed some tape out of his fanny pack and wrapped it around the middle part of the glasses. He placed them onto the raven haired boy's face and gave him an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that." The raven haired boy finally got a glimpse of the boy in front of him. His brown hair was slicked back, and his eyes looked like chocolate milk, the kind you had as a kid. As the raven haired boy stood up he glanced back at the brunette and saw dozens of small freckles planted on the boys face. "No problem chap," he said in a British accent, "I must be on me way though if I don't want to be late." He reached his hand out to help the brunette boy up, "Never did get your name though." The brunette still holding his head said, "Sorry but I don't shake hands, I could get sick, or worse STD's. Who knows where your hands have been? And my names Eddie." "Your mother wasn't complaining where my hands were last night," the raven smiled. Eddie gave him a disgusted look, "Thats so fucking disgusting you don't even know my mother." "Or so you thought. The names Richie by the way, and who knows maybe I'll see you around Eddie spaghetti. " The raven turned around before Eddie could react. "Don't call me that," he yelled to the boy already far ahead of him. "What a jerk," Eddie thought as he walked away.

As he arrived to school, he saw his friends waiting for him by the front gate. He smiled, then waved to them. "Hey Ed-d-die." He smiled at his friend Bill, "Hey Bill, did you and Stan finish studying?" Stan choked on his water, and Bill gave him a slight kick. "Y-y-ye-ah," Bill's cheeks turned rosy and Beverly gave him a weird look. "Ok then, " Eddie replied looking awkwardly at the others. "Hey are you guys up for the quarry tomorrow," Mike asked interrupting the awkward silence. "Yeah I just have to return some books to the library but after I can," Ben said smiling. "Yeah I'm free too, I'll just say I'm at the library studying," Eddie said. Everyone knew how overprotective Sonia is, so they always come up with excuses so that Eddie can hang out with them. Birdwatching with Stan, sleepover at Bill's, studying at the library, whatever it takes to make Sonia believe he's not doing something he shouldn't. Everyone else said they were free and started talking about the math test they had yesterday. Eddie had first period Math with Stan. "So what was that about?" Stan looked at Eddie with a slight blush, "What are you talking about?" "You know exactly what I'm talking about, is there something going on between you two," Eddie gave Stan a slight smile. "We're just friends that's it." "Whatever floats your boat Stan."

Eddie walked into class and disinfected his desk before sitting down. Eddie's gaze was focused on the window, and his thoughts somehow crossed over to the Raven haired boy he met this morning. Even though he was a jerk he looked beautiful in the sunlight.  "Eddie Kaspbrak please report to the principals office immediately," the monitor roared snapping Eddie out of his trance and into panic mode. He looked over at Stan and saw him mouthing, "What did you do?" He mouthed back, "I don't know!" Eddie stood up grabbing his inhaler incase he needed to use it, and walked out of the classroom and down the hall. He got his inhaler ready and let go of the trigger. (Sorry guys if that's not how you do it.) As he got to the front desk the lady knew it was Eddie because of how many times his mother had called about him. She smiled at the brunette boy and saw his worried expression, "Don't worry, the principal just wants you to show around this new kid." "Oh ok," the worry melted off of him, and he put his inhaler back into his fanny pack. He walked into the principals office and saw the Raven haired boy slouched over in the chair. Eddie tried to sneak out and pretend like he wasn't there until, "Ah Edward nice to see you. Don't worry son, you're not in trouble." Richie laughed at the name, "Pshh you didn't tell me your name was Edward." Eddie scowled at him. "Oh it seems you two already know each other." "I'm afraid so," Eddie replied. "I need you to give Richard-" "Richie" "-Sorry, Richie a tour of the school." "Yes sir," Eddie said. Richie got out from the chair and headed out.

"Looks like it's just you and me spaghetti man."

"Don't call me that," Eddie said rushing over to Richies side.

Little did he know, that new kid was trouble.
