"amatsuki-kun!" kashitarou called out to the other, seemingly a bit busy feeding his pets and pon and mimi. kashitarou brought his two cats over to the latter's home.

"what is it, kashitarou-san?" amatsuki turned around to face the other, staring at the sight of kashitarou raising his hands with a small, cheeky smile.

"can you come over?" that same smile was still on kashitarou's face, patiently waiting for amatsuki to walk over to him.

amatsuki stood up from his crouching position, face contorting to an expression of confusion before shaking his head, placing the pet food on the kitchen counter before approaching kashitarou.

"i'm here... is there something you need?" amatsuki smiled, although a bit confused with what's going on.

kashitarou laughed a bit before making jazz hands, "high five?" his smile grew wider.

cute! amatsuki thought before his own smile grew wider, his confusion clearing up a bit and was amused by kashitarou's actions. he raised his hands and gave kashitarou a high five, hands lingering on the other's for a bit.

there, kashitarou took his chance and intertwined their hands together, surprising amatsuki as confusion was present on his face once more.

"ka-kashitarou-san?" amatsuki tilted his head, his smile still there. however, he was a bit flustered with what's happening.

kashitarou looked at their intertwined hands before looking up at amatsuki, smile dying down into a soft and smaller one. he pulled the other closer to him. "i love you," he gently and fondly whispered, his gaze affectionate.

"w-wait, that's a bit... u-unexpected..." amatsuki squeaked afterwards, avoiding kashitarou's gaze and lowered his head down in embarrassment, not wanting the other to see how red his face was, "...i love you, too," he hurriedly whispered, gripping their hands tight.

kashitarou laughed, amused and fond. "thank you, amatsuki-kun." he moved forward and pressed a light kiss on the other's forehead.
