Chapter 5: Feelings

EJ's POV

I head upstairs into my room. I take off my mask and lay on my bed. I'm starting to question if (Y/N) is even human. After what I saw of the effect of Slender carving into her, there's no way.

If the carving was on the wrong place she would've died from blood loss. If it was on the right place, her head would start hurting like a big migraine. But it seemed like the mark was in the wrong place, but her body was fighting to let it go through. So maybe that might be all. And the blood that spilled to the floor....

~Jack's POV of (Y/N)'s mark effect~

I see her fall to the ground and move all around the floor. I stood up and questioned to what she was doing. I see so much blood come out from her mouth and I start to panic. I start to run to her when I was held back by Slender.

"Wait, look what's happening to her"

I start to see the blood move on it's own creating a picture. A circle with in "X" in the middle, Slender's symbol.

I look at Slender, "what's happening to her"

"That's what I would like to figure out"

I look back at (Y/N). I then hear her scream. Her scream didn't sound normal though, more like a devilish scream. It hurts to listen to. She then starts moving around more than before with continuous screams, bumping into the wall with her back. But she didn't stop. She starts to roll up the wall, crawling on the ceiling, then hits her head on the ceiling as if it was the floor. Her unbearable screaming stops and falls, having me catch her in time, holding her in bridle style. Her eyes were closed and she was covered in blood.

"I think she's past out" I listen for a heartbeat. "Thank God she's alive"

"But will she stay alive is the question" I hear Slender say as I see the blood below me disappear.

'Let's hope she will' I thought as I pick her up and lay her on the desk.

"What do we do in the meantime 'til she wakes up?"

"Well I need to figure out what to do with her. We're not sure what she's capable of yet, and if we don't figure it out soon, someone will be going after her."

"I can protect her"

"Why the sudden interest in this girl?"

My eyes widen and I look down blushing a bit.

"It's not interest, it's just an offer until you know what to do"

Slender nods, "and what will you do if I decide to kill her?"

I hesitate to answer. "I will except your decision" I say a bit quiet. Slender nods again.

~End of backflash~

I sigh. "Why do I care so much for her. I already know that she'll be dead in the end, she's way to innocent to kill anyone..." I turn over to the side of me, 'Or so I think' I say in my head finishing my sentence.

I hear a sudden thump and shoot up from my bed. 'Did that come from outside my door or upstairs?' I question. I get up, put on my mask and open the door. I see (Y/N) holding her chin with two boxes on the ground.

"Uhh... what happened?" I ask.

(Y/N) looks at me and seemed a bit hesitant to speak.

"I uh...Someone wanted me to put these in the attic" she stuttered.

I look over to one of the boxes that were tipped over and looked at the stuff that had fallen out. It was an Xbox game.

"Seems like BEN has finally gotten to the point where he can't fit anymore of his games in his room"
