The hug lasted a little while which made both Ullman and Jack slightly uncomfortable. That's when Jack decided to clear his throat to get their attention. Both Wendy's and Jazmin's head snapped towards the sound. Wendy was the one to tear away from the hug, seeing the look of embarrassment on her husband's face made her realize how long they were hugging. Her face turned pink as she looked at Jazmin sheepishly,
"Sorry," she said, " That was embarrassing I hardly know you." Her face turning more pink by the second. Jazmin giggled, which made her stomach flutter.
"That's okay, I'm told I give the best hugs", she laughed. There's was something about her that just made her so captivating to the Torrances. Except for Danny that is. On their way over to the Overlook Tony, Danny's imaginary friend, had warned him about the dangers of the Overlook in a series of flashing images, but one of them stuck out, and this particular one kept flashing in his head. In his vision he saw the Overlook in the middle of winter, there was a blizzard and the building was capped in snow, than suddenly the Overlook was in flames, and he was outside in the snow wearing very light clothing. He could feel the freezing cold snow on his feet but the scorching heat of the fire on his face. He could barely hear the distorted screams coming from the building when there was a huge BANG! The large wooden doors had burst open and were flying through the air. He looked at the fiery entrance and behind the flames he could barley make out the figure of a large looming shadow stomping slowly towards him. The closer it got the more he was able see what it was. It was tall and thin, its face was long and it looked like it had horns on its head. He can see it's bright yellow eyes glowing through the fire, its hands had long talon like claws and it's body was covered with patches of fur. It was immune to the flames and it was almost towards the entrance. The strong, corrupt smell of brimstone filled his nostrils as it got closer.The smell was almost nauseating. He heard it growl right before he was snapped back to reality. Danny tried to ask Tony what that thing was but Tony wouldn't answer. Ever since than Danny's been cautious, Looking for anything that might resemble the horrid creature. After him and his mother ate breakfast they joined his father to go take a tour of the Overlook. As they were walking towards the lobby his father mentioned that they were going to be staying with someone else for the winter, a woman named Jazmin. Danny's heart began to race a bit. The idea of staying with a complete stranger made him nervous. He relaxed a bit when they reached the lobby where he saw a tan skinned woman with dark brown hair.
'That must be Jazmin', he thought. 'She looks nice.'
And almost as if she heard his thoughts, she turned to face him. He looked in her eyes and for a second he could have sworn he saw a flash of yellow in them. His heart fell to his stomach.
'She can't be it!' He screamed in his head. His mind flashing images of the creature. The smell of brimstone was prominent but it was very faint. As Jazmin made her way to meet his mother he hid behind his dad, afraid that this women was the horrid creature from his vision. After the whole hugging ordeal Jazmin had turned her head in Danny's direction, only to see him hide behind his father's leg's. She felt a faint pain in her chest, but just thought that maybe the boy was shy.
"Hi," she said bending down a little to see him. Little did she know she was giving Ullman an amazing view of her ass. Danny didn't say anything, but instead hid himself more. This hurt Jazmin, she loved children and normally kids loved her. Wendy began to speak,
"He's just a little shy. Come on danny say hi."
Danny looked at his mother horrified, Jazmin noticed and sighed,
"Its okay I get that he's shy, besides we have the next few months to be aquainted." Wendy nodded, a sympathetic look flashed Jazmin's way as she did so. Jazmin just smiled, but she could feel the fear radiating off Danny as she turned to face Ullman so they can start the tour. When she faced him she noticed the look of boredom and annoyance spread across his face. He let out a long and sarcastic sigh feeling that their conversation was finally over so he can begin the tour.
"Well, now that thats finally over lets begin with the tour shall we?," he began.
"Lets," Jazmin said.
"Great, well follow me this way as we begin with our beautiful Colorado Lounge!", He said a little to dramatically. While walking over to the lounge Jazmin could feel a headache creeping towards her. It was was strong but not strong enough for her not to ignore it.
'God', she thought,'It feels like someone is trying to get in my head'. She chuckled to her self before continuing to listen to Ullman talk about the fascinating history of the Overlook. Little did she know that her humorless joke would rang true. Danny was trying to see inside her head, to see if she was the horrid creature from his vision and if she wasn't maybe the key to stop it from coming. But he couldn't, for some reason he was finding it difficult to see inside her head which confused him. It didn't take much effort to get in ones head, he's done it a couple times like when he got in the head of some lady in the front entrance who was taking about "getting in someone's pants", whatever that meant. He couldn't think much of it, his thoughts being cut off by his mother.
"What'cha thinking about doc?", she asked, "nothing."

Finally i got this chapter done! I just rewatched the shining and was filled with inspiration, hopefully the next chapter won't take so long. Also i made a very large edit to the first chapter if you haven't noticed,nothing too important, as well as a few spelling corrections to both the first and second chapter.
