~Y/N's POV~  (10 years old)

My parent's, my village, my home, all gone. Burned to the ground. I should've known that it was dangerous. I-i should've seen this coming. I should've been able to stop this.  I sobbed as I ran anway from the treacherous knights, who burned my home to the ground. They took everything from me, but they weren't going to take my life. I ran further and further into the strange woods. I had never dared to go this far alone before.

After what felt like, and probably was, hours and hours of running, I bumped into something. It wawsn't a tree, no, it wasn't the right texture- or color for that matter. It was scaley, and blue, and purple. I slowly looked up, and I saw a dragon. Wide eyed, I stumbled backward into a tree.

"Fear not dear child, what is wrong?" A female voice came from the dragon as it lowered its head, interested in getting a better look at me, and my no doubt tear-stained face.

"I-i- M-my village burned down. Th-these knights came and- and they killed my family!" I cried, balling up.

"It's okay, my child. I can be your family now." The dragon assured, nuzzling me with her giant head. And that was how Galactica, the Galaxy Dragon adopted me. Little did I know how fast that relationship would end.

~Timeskip 5 Years, Y/N is now 15~

I walked back to the cave that me and my dragon mother, Galactica, shared, carrying a basket of food. I wore my usual outfit, and a cloak. I dropped the basket and started to run to the cave when I heard shows, screams, and the sounds of metal clanking. I looked to see the same knights that burned my village to the ground. How could I forget that crest? They were here, killing my second mother. Galactica looked over, straining herself from there ropes and lances on fire being thrown at her.

She gave a mighty roar before speaking to me, "Y/N Run! My time has come, darling daughter but you don't have to die. It is not your time.  Run." She cried out, smiling to me as the knights couldn't understand her. "I love you. Goodbye, daughter." she smiled at me, before putting up a fight to the knights.

I felt tears streaming down my face as I looked to see my dragon mother. "I love you too mom." I smiled before running off, obeying her wish. And so I ran, and I didn't stop until I came to a highly populated town, called magnolia. I ran to it's forest, and decided that it would be okay to cry there.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here boys?" An ugly, middle aged man spoke up, two men standing behind him. "What'dya say honey? Come home with us for a little while." The middle man  started growing closer to me. I quickly readied my defenses before one of the men in the back through something around me.

A magic proof circle-?!  There was no way I could take these three on without my magic.
"HELP!" I began to yell, desperately hoping with all my might someone would hear me. "HELP! PLEASE! HE-" I was cut off by one of the guys placing his hand over my mouth.

"Thats enough out of you." He smirked, winding his other hand back for a punch. I winced, preparing myself to take the hit, and closing my eyes. But it never came. Instead his hand dropped from my mouth. I quickly opened my eyes, and moved my gaze to see what they were looking at.

"Thats no way to treat a lady." A blond boy, a teen around my age, stood there, glaring at the three men. Thank god for help.

"Look runt, this is none of your concern. Why don't you just run home, and forget what you saw here, okay shrimp?" He growled towards the boy who came to save me.
