Payton looked down at the ground and smiled.
Well that's avani. He replied.

I have a question too. He said looking back up.
Sure yeah What's up.
So avani, I kinda like her. How do I know if she likes me back.

Ouch, why did I feel that pain In my heart when he said that.

Just look for signs like hair twirling, nervousness, if she laughs at everything you say. Like the little things i said.

It was quite for a moment. After that nightmare. I dont know, I felt diffrent about payton.

Once we arrived back at Payton's house I went directly to the bathroom.

I did my business and walked back to Payton's room to grab a pair of clothes.

Yeah of course! I heard Payton say as he was talking to someone on the phone.
Okay, see you soon babe. I hear payton agian.

What? Babe?! He has a girlfriend?

I hear him hang up and so then I decided to walk in.

He gives me a smile but doesnt say anything.

Guess what! He says finally breaking the silence.

What? I say giving a small giggle.

I'm taking avani on a date! He said excitedly.

WHAT?

Oh. I replied.

Tommorrow. He said excitedly agian.

Well I'm happy for you. I say giving him a fake smile.
I think he saw it was fake but he didnt say anything.

It was now 10:23.

Hey payton I'm going to bed.

Okay he replied back to me while he was stalking avani's tiktok.

I covered myself up and closed my eyes.

Before I could say anything back the man has pulled the trigger.
PAYTON! PAYTON NO!
I LOVE YOU TOO! I LOVE YOU!NO!PLEASE NO!  I screamed at his dead body while crying to death.
I fall to my knees knowing I just lost the only guy I would ever want to be with I didnt even get to tell him I loved him.

Olivia? Said a voice while lightly shaking me.
I open my eyes to see payton.
I instantly sat up and hugged him pressing my body against his.
Are you okay? He asked me while hugging me back.

I had a nightmare. I said.

He hugged me tighter and then pulled apart.
What time is it? I asked him.
Is 11:34.
Oh. Okay. I'm gonna go back to sleep.
I say rubbing my eyes.
Okay. Payton says and he laid down close beside me to where are arms where touching.

And I did the unexpected.

I laid my head on his chest and cuddled up to him.
Even though I couldnt see him. I knew he was smirking.
He put his arm around my waiste bringing me closer.

Then we both fell asleep.
