I looked away and at the ground processing what I had just heard.

Payton wants to ask me out?
No he thinks I'm ugly and dumb and how could he like someone that has been completely rude to him.

Payton looked over back at me and said.
"You didnt hear anything okay"
He grabs my hand and starts dragging me to his car.

Where are we going?

Somewhere to get out of the house. He replys.

We get to the car and I couldnt help but have a smile on my face.

We buckled up and payton started driving.

So were are we going? I asked him looking out the window as we pulled out of his parking lot.

I was thinking coffee? He said but kinda like a question asking if I wanted to get some.

Yeah sure. I said with the same dumb smirk on my face, But he had one on his face too.

We have now arrived at the coffee shop and we where in line waiting for are turn to order before we sat down.

A few girls have asked payton for pictures and autographs, of course I didnt care because we aren't together and i need to accept that he has fans and it's his job.

So are you too dating? A girl asked him.

Payton looked at me and back at the girls. No were just friends. He gave them a smile and took a picture.

Why did that hurt so much more than I thought it would ever feel.

The girls walked away and payton walked back beside me.
