Chapter 21 - Ruined

Natalie's P.O.V

"What the hell is she doing here?!" Zayn complained.

"Who are you talking about?" Liam asked.

"Perrie."

"What?! Where?" Niall asked, shockingly. Zayn points to the right. Perrie came with her bodyguards.

Right now, we're in Mr Jones's company. Mr Jones asked One Direction to stay here for just one more week. He wants One Direction to perform again with a popular singer. He said his company made a huge profit. Kyle agrees with his proposal and guess what?

I have to face Mr Jones again. I thought this nightmare would end, but it didn't. Plus, Perrie, that bitch, Nathan's killer came here. I think she's a popular singer who will be performing with One Direction.

"I think she'll do the show with us." Harry guessed.

"Hell no! Anyone, but her." Zayn sighed.

Zayn turned around, looking at me. I looked away.

I know what he's thinking.

Only Charles, he and I know what happened. It's not that I didn't want to tell anyone, but I didn't get a chance to tell them.

"Ms Edwards." Mr Jones shook her hand.

"Hey, Nick." she gave a fake smile.

"How are you doing?"

"I'm good. You?"

"I'm more than good."

"Wow, you're really in a good mood today."

"Well, my company makes a lot of profit with them." he pointed at One Direction.

"Oh hey guys. I didn't see you there." she obviously lied.

They didn't answer and looked somewhere else.

"And when you make a show with them, the more I get!"

"Yeah. We're like stuff to buy." Niall mumbled.

I just chuckled at his words. He looked at me and smirked.

"Watch your words, Niall." Kyle warned him.

"Whatever." Niall rolled his eyes.

"Thank you for coming, Ms Edwards." Kyle turned to Perrie.

"I can't wait to perform with them."

"Urrgghh... I feel so annoyed." Louis whispered.

"Natalie" Kyle called me.

"Yes, sir?"

"Can I talk to you for a moment?"

"Of course, sir."

"Follow me."

I followed him.

"Look, Natalie, Ms Edwards said she didn't book a hotel here."

"So you want me to book a hotel for her?" I sighed.

"Yes. For her bodyguards too."

"Sir, there's something I have to tell you about her."

"Can it wait? I'm very busy."

"It's important. It's about Nathan's case."

"The case again? Natalie, now is your working time as a bodyguard. Not an investigator."

"What do you mean, sir? You let me solve this case, right?"

"Yes, I did, but you're a bodyguard, Natalie. Let the police or officer Charles handle this case. All you need to do is just help them find the evidence. I noticed that you keep busy handling Nathan's case until you forget about your work as a bodyguard. So, please, Natalie... Please focus and take a good care of your health. You've got to be strong, Natalie. You have to be good at managing your time. I know you've a lot of problems right now, but you've got to be strong."
