We arrive and I sigh at the neon lights and loud music coming from inside.

I always feel like a grumpy old cat lady that complains about annoying teens.

There are kids at school who get picked on just for being smart who would kill to just get to live my life for a day, but they just don't know how tiring it can be.

I would kill to live their life for a day.

I laugh at my own thoughts as we enter the party.

"Damn Rube!"

"Looking good girl!"

"Okay, okay, I see you."

Whistles and cheers can be heard from the crowd but I just smile and thank them all.

Well, at least that was new.

Some random person hands me a drink and I look inside the plastic cup. It has a golden brown liquid in it and it reeks of alcohol.

I place it on a table, that I've grown quite fond of, I feel like that table. Always at this house, every Friday, just waiting for something exciting to happen.

After I place the cup on that table that I have named Souly, I head to the kitchen to get a canned Coke.

I see that there are at least five plastic cups on the ground in the kitchen and that someone could easily slip and hurt their heads.

I always do this. It's a routine really.

I enter the party. Everyone cheers. They hand me a drink. I put it down. Get Coke. Get paranoid. Dance. Leave.

Sound fun? Well, it was. The first 15 times.

"Hey Rube." I turn and see Zayn flashing me a smile and I almost choke on my soda.

"H-hey Zayn." I smile back. I'm about to comment about how he looks great, but then a girl with blonde hair comes up behind him.

"Hey babe. Who's this?" She asks Zayn. Babe?!

Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.

"Oh, this is exactly what I was planning. Rube, meet my girlfriend Rebecca. Babe, meet Rube." He smiles down at her.

That little man snatching whor-

"It's nice to finally meet you." She smiles while holding her hand out. I just stare at it while I gulp.

"I- I have to go." I exit the kitchen and follow Jules and Crystal onto the face floor.

"Hey, some of the guys want to play spin the bottle." Jules states while she sways her hips to the music.

"Punishment?" We've played spin the bottle multiple times and if I'm being honest, I like this part of the party's.

It doesn't happen at every party, which is why I like it. It catches me by surprise.

Anyways, the punishment is always different. Kissing, dares, secret telling, drinking, that kind of stuff.

Though I never play when it comes to drinking and kissing.

Life of 5he party, Malachite.

"Truth-Telling." She yells back. The music gets louder and louder, but I don't care because something good has finally come out of this.

"Okay, let's go." I say and she nods. She brings Jasper and Crystal along and we all go down to the basement where the game is being held.

When we reach our destination, there are about eight people already there in a circle on the floor.
