Oh Sundays.

The day my dad finally spends quality time with me.

Also the day that I have to act like I don't hate him and like my life is not a pile of bullsh-

"Hey honey! It's Sunday! Let's go." He says from the other side of my room.

So here's the back story.

Skip if you want, I hate this story too.

My dad used to be a drunk. He would drink all day. Stay at bars all night. So, it was just my mom and I. One day, my dad decided to put his hands on my mother. . .as I watched From The Dining Table (he he get it?). The very first time my dad hit my mom, I was 5 and hid underneath the table out of fear. Around the 6th time, I got so upset that I tried to stop him. . .which resulted in him hitting me. At first, it was an accident, but the more he drank, the less he could control himself. Soon enough, my mom got tired of my dad's behavior so, while he was at a bar around 2 am, my mom woke me up and said that we were going on a "trip" but now that I'm older, I know she wanted us away from that drunk. But, my dad decided to come home early just as we were about to leave. He got beyond pissed and threw my mom out. As in literally kicked her out. And my mom couldn't call the cops on my dad because her and my dad were illegal. So, I was stuck living with my dad my whole life. Well, up until now. I'm seventeen and I'm planning on moving out soon, but that's not the point. Eventually, once my dad realized what he had done, he decided to finally sober the fuck up. So now here we are, six years sober, six years of me not forgiving him, 17 years of me hating my life because of him.
