KATIE POV

Me and Travis just moved into our own apartment and needles to say all my plants take up half the living room but Travis doesn't seem to mind. Our apartment is in the same complex as our friends, Percy and Annabeth, will and Nico, Piper and Jason, Leo and Calypso, and Frank and hazel, sometimes we get together and have game night but most of the time we hang out at the camp so we can teach our classes, I teach gardening, Travis does Track, Percy does swim team, Annabeth does book club, Frank does animal lessons, Hazel does jewelry class, Will does archery, Nico does Music class, Leo does art along with Calypso.

Everything should be normal but it's not I feel like Travis is up to something but I not quite sure.

TRAVIS POV

Oh I'm totally up to something. After getting done with classes I ask Katie if she wants to stay for dinner at camp she says yes of course, and all our friends were gonna be there to.
Me and Katie walk to the pavilion but I stop at the strawberry fields which are still very visible from the pavilion.

I start to get nervous which never really happens to me and I feel the weight in my pocket grow heavy.

I get on one knee and hear a lot of gasps and a lot of squeals from Aphrodite kids. I look up to see Katie in shock yet almost in tears as the sun reflects of her beautiful forest green eyes I've fallen in love with.

I grab the velvet dark green box out of my pocket into my hands, Katie has this aura of happiness right now, I open the box to a beautiful emerald gem ring which the ring was made out of Vines and there was little silver specks in them, the gem was just gorgeous it almost matched Katie's eyes and it was perfect just like her.

I take a deep breath and start speaking, " Katie Gardner I have been waiting for this day since we were 14 and now it's happening, I have always loved you with your beautiful hair the is soft Brown and silky to the freckles dotted across your face everything about you is beautiful your personality, your kindness, your voice, your energy, everyday I see you I fall even more in love with you, so will you make me the happiest guy in the whole Galaxy and marry me?" I finish with a smile on my face as I look up to see her smile and nod.

I jump up and bring her into a kiss as I slide her ring on, I hear the camp erupt in happiness and cheers except from one specific Ares kid who looks annoyed. After we break the kiss Katie turn directly at Chris flips him off and kisses me again, dam I couldn't ask for a better fiance.

As the camp calms down me and Katie go down to the pavilion and get ready to eat with everyone congratulating us, Katie is giggling with her friends and I talk to Percy and Jason for a while.

Soon me and Katie are sitting next to each other hand in hand smiling like nothing could stop us. As we're about to finish we look up to see a bright light flash and there stood my father and her mother, Hermes and Demeter.

Everyone in camp gets down on one knee except me and Katie, Demeter turns to look at Hermes with an odd look on her face.
"Are you sure Aphrodite didn't cause this?" Demeter said with an eyebrow raised
"Nope I would have known they're truly in love!" My father said
"Fine, I approve daughter, and as a gift I will do flowers and hair for the wedding!" Demeter said with a happy look on her face
"And I approve as well and my gift to you son is these winged shoes" Father said as he gives me a Nike box with winged shoes in them, I smile.
"Goodbye and thank you" me and Katie say as we bow and our parents leave.

After we get done I smile at Katie and say "not bad for a child of Demeter" with a smirk on my face, she just replies "yeah not bad for a Hermes kid either" and smiles and kisses me. God's I'm thankful for this girl.
