I had just left Clary to do her own thing today and get settled. When she asked me if I actually wanted her to be here I don't know why I didn't respond. I guess it's cause I feel guilty for leaving her. I had left her alone and when Kaylee and Kailyn got home they went to get showered and everything.
"Babe?" Kaylee called from the doorframe. I looked up and smiled at her.
"What's up?" I asked and walked over to her and hug her hips.
"Clary is in the room crying and upset because her big sister doesn't want her here." She said and I pulled away.
"No, of course, I want her here. She's the only one in the family that hasn't done anything." I said in a panicking tone. Kaylee put her hand on my face to calm me down.
"Then go let her know that. Danielle I've been begging you for the longest time to get in touch with her. I don't know what I would do if Kailyn thought I didn't care about her." She said.
"But I do care about her," I said.
"Then go show her." She said and dragged my hand leading me to Kailyn's room where I saw Kailyn rubbing Clary's head in her lap.
"Hey K. Can I talk to her or a second?" I asked and she nodded. Clary lifted her head off Kailyn's lap and I sat on Kailyn's bed.
"You know I love you right," I said and she rolled her eyes.
"Funny way of showing it." She said.
"Look Clary I know me leaving with no contact for 2 years was a bad big sister move on my part and I'm sorry. Of course, I want you here otherwise I would have told the caseworker not to have you here. Can we make up for the lost time?" I pleaded and she shrugs her shoulders.
"I'll think about it. Like you said missing 2 years is a bad sister move." She said and I kissed the top of her head and walked out.
"Did you guys kiss and make up?" Kailyn asked.
"No, but where is your sister that's who I want to be kissing," I said and she made a disgusted face.
