Jungkook was still scared of the werewolves, unsure of what the reason for bringing him back to their pack grounds were.

The omega, like the typical omega he was, listened to the alpha and urged the vampire to go home with them. And the vampire could only listen, his thoughts focused on how scary the alpha was.

Jungkook was too scared to refer to their actual names - the alpha was Jimin and the omega appeared to be called Taehyung - so he continued to think of them as the alpha and omega.

Besides that, he can sense a very threatening and menacing aura from the alpha. It seems that despite knowing the vampire was being threatened by another, he still hated Jungkook.

Or, as the alpha had implied before, he hated all vampires for who they are.

In the eyes of many, vampires were ruthless. They killed others in the blink of an eye, hunted people just for the fun of terrorizing them, and did not treat others well.

In other words, they were actual monsters.

But that wasn't true for all vampires. The Jeon vampire clan just happened to be the most famous of all the vampire clans, so people always believed that what the Jeon clan did was what usually worked with the other vampire clans.

Due to that, all vampires got a bad name.

And that was because of Jungkook's father.

His ruthlessness and murderous intent against all creatures that were rivals was well known among all species, especially his usual way of hunting humans specifically.

He made humans fear him, made other creatures hesitate before him, and forced respect to be given to him from other vampires.

Whoever dared disobeyed him would go missing within a month.

The young vampire had seen his father's ruthlessness firsthand, seen how the older vampire would grab them and torture his victims in front of the other vampires.

And the other vampires in his clan would only laugh at it, seeming not to show a shred of humanity.

Despite knowing that he was a vampire and he wouldn't be able to be as humane as a human, Jungkook was a kind-hearted creature in general.

And his father hated it.

So he did whatever he could to beat that humanity out of Jungkook, turn him into a monster like the vampire he was supposed to be.

Jungkook didn't turn into a monster, but he did turn into a traumatized little vampire. His father used violence as the way to teach his son how to fight, train him to be stronger and more powerful than others.

But Jungkook didn't like that. He still chose to do more "gentle" activities, which involved learning how to draw and look for herbs, because he was curious.

And because of his continuous shy and hesitant nature, his father got fed up with him.

Any sign of weakness came with a beating.

This alpha that came on to Jungkook had based the vampire off the stereotypes of vampires being mean bloodsuckers, always territorial with their own place and being ruthless, vicious beasts that killed for no reason at all.

That was not true for all. Only his father and those bloodthirsty vampires fit the definition. Jungkook felt like wanting to snap the alpha's neck for assuming that he was just another monster, but he didn't dare say a word.
