A Tale I would never read aloud.
...Robin Hood...
You've heard of the Robin Hood tales, right? You know the one where he stole from the rich to give to the poor. The one who met a girl named Marian fell for her and she for him. Stealing for a good cause is still stealing. His Merry Men followed him everywhere. Once he was captured he got out almost seemingly immediately. King Richard returned and married his niece Marian to Robin Hood. Along with rewarding him for helping the people while he was away.
Who would have thought someone so seemingly against the "everyone has a happy ever after" rule would relate to a story so much? Though I am not a hero, or a princess, or even a knight there was something in this story that hit me but then I realized that you were my Robin Hood.
I feel as though I was living inside a fairy tale, but we were a disaster. I was intoxicated by your reputation, yet I still trusted you. I was so rich with love and you wanted it yet made me numb somehow. I let you in, now home doesn't feel like home anymore. I gave you all I had to lose, my skin, soul and you stole it all. What of me have you gotten out of breaking my heart?
You are literally my Robin Hood. You stole my heart... I feel so alone, all you did was take..take...take... I had this feeling and I should have listened because now there is no us. I was so dumb, a stupid girl. I should have run, but you stole the one thing from me that kept me sane. My heart, you might as well just ripped it from my chest and crushed it in front of me.
