Kiana’s POV

“Oh shit, it really hit the fan now.” I heard Shakila saying. “Welcome to the world of mates Kiana.” Wait mates?!!! “I looked a Delroy and gasped again feeling a pull. “Oh hell no. I’m mated to my brother’s beta?!!! Tell me I’m dreaming.” “Oh you’re not babe.” Del said. “Come; let’s go somewhere to talk privately.” He pushed off the wall grabbing my hand. I saw Shakila smiling and waving at me as the door closed behind us. Delroy lead me to a large spacious room. “Is this your room?” “It was until now.” He said. “This can’t be happening.” I said. Del came behind me placing his arms around my waist. “Face it Kiana. We’re mates.” His touch was amazing. It sent ripples of pleasure down my spine. “I know Del, I guess I’m still in shock. Finding out that my best friend is mated to your own brother who is also your alpha and then finding out that I’m mated to my brother’s beta is a lot to take in plus your sister and Kaylie being exile as well. I felt him tensed when I mentioned his sister. I turned to face him. “If I don’t know anything else about my brother, I know this: he will do everything in his power to bring Chelsea back. I actually liked her to be honest. I just don’t see why she chose to hang out with Kaylie. Kila and I would’ve been way better friends then her.” Del smiled at my remark. “Kaylie considered my sister as a lapdog hanging on her every word and command. I hated the fact that Chelsea had to go through that.” “Did you ever try talking her out of it?” He sighed. “Oh I did. Plenty of times, but she was content on staying with Kaylie. Now I bet she wished she would’ve listened to her big brother.” I leaned into him then. “Don’t worry, she’ll come back.” “I hope so.” He said. I looked at him standing on my toes; I brushed my lips over his. He was as still as a statue at first, but then the gears started to roll and he kissed me back. I ran my fingers through his silky hair and he grabbed my hips lifting me up. He pushed me against the wall as I wrapped my arms around him. He sucked on my bottom lip as if asking for permission to gain entry into my mouth, but I refused. Then he pinched my ass making me gasped and that was his opening. Our tongues fought for domination, but in the end he won. I moaned into his mouth and he growled at the sound of it. He pulled back abruptly making me whimpered at the loss of his delicious lips. “Can I mark you?” he said. I nodded wanting to be claim as his.  He found the spot where my shoulder and neck meet. I felt his canines come out and I screamed but it only last for a small second and then it was subdue by pleasure. He licked the newly placed mark and I shuddered at the touch. I smiled leaning against his firm chest.
