The last part of Hello there told from an outside perspective as well as introducing new characters,
Deep green eyes watched the two tieflings, taking in the way they seemed to shy around each other. It was both humorous and almost sicking to watch them skirt around the other. She hummed as she gently swirled the tankard, hearing her drink slosh gently at the sides. She felt for the other female, she really did, watching the doubts that passed through her eyes as her... comrade all but flirted with the tavern wrench. Getting involved would do them no good though if anything it might make matters worse.
He might get defensive if anyone went after him about the pain he was causing her, or he might not even care. Which was worse she was unsure, but she was sure getting in the middle of them would be nothing short of dangerous. A long sigh left her, watching the way Zephyr glance down at the table. Maybe she should go try to cheer her up? Sure, she might not be the best at it, but something might be better than nothing?
She almost jumped, halfway between getting up when a hand landed on her shoulder. She turned slightly, wanting to see just who it was that was touching her. "Murvenvu," She muttered, sinking back into her seat. The darker red tiefling chuckled at her, hand sliding off her shoulder as he leaned his hip against the bar behind her. She didn't have to keep looking at him to know how close he was, really with how full the bar was tonight, it shouldn't even surprise her.
"Watching our newest friends?" She rolled her eyes as the tiefling leaned forward, chin coming to rest on her head. "Come now, Daisy, wouldn't have thought you'd be one to watch a drama."
"Don't call me Daisy," she huffed, one hand coming up to slap at him. Out of all the nicknames he could of picked, why had it been Daisy? Even so, she couldn't help leaning back into him, head coming to rest more against his chest. "He's breaking her heart and he doesn't even know it." There's a low hum coming from Murvenvu, one that she finds herself closing her eyes too.
"Love can be blind," She can feel him tug on a strand of her hair, but when she looks up, his eyes are focused unflinchingly on Zerxes. Daevaris wonders just what is going through that mind of his, even as his fingers slip through her hair to land on her shoulder firmly. "Though sometimes, all it needs a shove." She snorts, hand coming up to cover the lower half of her face.
"A shove, please Murv." She leans forward, turning to look him in the eyes. There's a moment where she wonders what that emotion was as his eyes flicker from Zerxes, Zephyr, to her. "We all know you'd 'politely' tell him to stop being a dick." There's a smirk coming to his face, in response to her playful glare. Although, her eyes turn downward, searching for something she didn't know. Even if she let -who was she kidding, Murvenvu would do as he always did there was no letting him do anything- whose to say it would amount to anything. Zerxes might be more amount to run, then listen to either of them.
Something taps her forehead, and she raises her glare at Murvenvu, only for him to tip his head towards something behind her. "Might not have to shove after all." Comes the quiet timber, and Daevaris is turning to watch Zerxes settle down by Zephyr, watching the way their fingers link together. It makes her feel something, jealousy? It looked almost way too simple as they talked, the soft looks thrown at one another. She jumped as arms wrapped around her waist, Murvenvu's quiet hum, really she was starting to akin it more to a purr, becoming louder.
"Almost too sweet," She mutters, deciding to finally finish off the last of her tankard. The tavern wrench seems to huff, shuffling by Daevaris and Murvenvu. A sharp grin lights up her face, watching her. Suits her right really, going after something that was already owned.
"Not a sweet person, Daisy?" She huffs, slapping at his arm as she pulls away.
"If you have to ask Murvenvu, maybe you need to reevaluate how much you do know about me," Daevaris doesn't look back once as she makes her way towards the couple, striding through people with a purpose. A joke was already ready to be used when she reached the two, hand coming to rest on Zerxes shoulder.
If she had looked back, though. She would have seen how ruby red eyes never once left her, following after like a protective guard dog. The way they soften at the laugh that came flowing back towards him, as Zerxes scowled up at her playfully.
Murvenvu hums, fingers tapping around the bar three times, before shaking his head.
Love really is blind.
