Part 12

The Next Day
Y/n's POV

I woke up to Jack's warm breath hitting me on the neck. I looked up at him to see him still deep in slumber. I started remembering what had happened last night. The huge fight between us. Everything that we had said to each other. I know he didn't mean it, but I was contemplating if he really did mean them. I slowly got out of his grip and started walking down the hall, tears in my eyes. I ran into Jonah on the way there. Jo: "y/n, what's wrong" Me: "Uhhh" Jo: "come with me" He grabbed my hand and led me to his room. Jo: "y/n, please tell me what's wrong" I let the tears fall out of my eyes, and we sat down on the bed. Me: "Jack and I got into a fight last night. He kisses me then he yells at me and tells me to shut up. Then I ask him if he's playing games with me, but he says that i need to quit making lies. Finally he told me that if I can't see that he's not playing games, then we need to forget our friendship." I was sobbing into Jonah's chest, and my nose was super stuffy, my eyes were red and puffy, and my face was red. Jo: "Here, how about this. You and I can hangout today, and try to get your mind off of Jack" Me: "I like that" Jo: "ok, let's get ready to leave in about 2 hours." me: "ok, thanks Jonah" I got up and went to take a shower. I got into the shower and locked all the doors incase if Jack came back. I didn't want anything to do with him today. I got out of the shower and looked at my face. My eyes were still puffy from crying, and I almost broke down again. I sucked it up and got dressed. I put on a t-shirt with a pair of shorts. It was a casual outfit and i slipped on a pair of vans. I didn't put on any make up and walked into Jonah's room. He was getting ready so I sat down at his desk. He walked in after getting dressed and we walked downstairs. But, we ran into Jack in the kitchen. J: "hey y/n, where are you going?" Me: "Somewhere" J: "where?" Me: "I'm going with Jonah for the day!" J: "woah, what's wrong with you?" I couldn't find the words to tell him, until Jonah spoke up. Jo: "You know damn well what's wrong Jack!" We walked out of the house and to Jonah's car. Me: I'm sorry Jonah" Jo: "Don't be sorry. Let's go" We got into his car and we drove to Starbucks. We walked inside of starbucks and ordered our drinks. We went and sat down at a table. Jo: "so, you wanna tell me what's been bothering you with Jack?" Me: "Well, at the beach a few days ago, he started kissing me. Then we came back home and he starts screaming at me over stuff. Then, he's all lovey dovey with me, then he tells me that if i can't see that he's not playing games with me, then i should leave and forget our friendship." Jo: "Just give him time, he'll come around and he'll soon realize what an amazing girl you are." I blushed. They called our names and Jonah went to go get our drinks. Jo: "Wanna go walk around the grove for a bit before heading back?" Me: "Sure" We got up and went to the grove. We started walking around just talking with each other. It had been so long since I had gotten to just talk with one of them. After about 2 hours of walking, we went back to the car. Jo: "Y/n, can I ask you a question?" Me: "Sure" Jo: "Do you like Jack?" Me: "jonah, I fucking love him. But after everything that we've been going through right now, I just don't want to date him right now" Jo: "I understand" We got out of the car and walked inside. Jack immediately came up to me and tried to hug me. I pushed him away from me and went up into my room. I shut the door and started crying. I heard yelling from downstairs. It sounded like Jonah. I got up and ran downstairs to see Jonah screaming at jack. Jo: "Jack, why the fuck would you be such a asshole to her! After everything that she's been through? Why are you treating her like this!" I just stood there listening to him yell and Jack until I couldn't take it anymore. Me: "JONAH SHUT UP!" everyone looked at me. I walked over to Jack and looked him in the eyes. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tighter than ever. Me: "I'm so sorry jack" I sobbed into his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me too, and soon, all of the boys were hugging us. J: "you ok now?" He whispered to where no one could hear. Me: "Yeah" I let go and went up to my room. I heard a knock at my door. Me: "Yeah?" Ch: "it's Christina" I opened the door and let her in. Ch: "What was all of that screaming downstairs." Me: "It was Jonah and Jack" Ch: "What the fuck is wrong with Jack?" Me: "I don't know, and I don't really wanna talk about it" Ch: "do you like him?" Me: "I love him, but after everything that's been going on with us recently, I don't think right now is the best time to be dating him." Ch: "I think that's a good idea" I grabbed my guitar and sat down on my bed. Ch: "I'm gonna go hang out with Corbyn, see you later y/n" Me: "bye" I started playing random things on my guitar. I heard a knock at my door. Me: "Come in" It was Jack. J: "Y/n, wanna watch a movie with Jonah, Daniel, Zach and I?" Me: "Sure" I got up and walk to the door. J: "first I wanna talk to you" He shut the door. J: "y/n, I'm so so sorry for everything I've done to you. I didn't mean any of it" Me: "Jack, it's ok" J: "I was wondering, if maybe we could start over again?" Me: "I like that" We went downstairs and sat down. Jo: "So, are you guys better?" Me: "I guess, for right now" They turned on a movie and I got a blanket from the couch. We laid down on the couch and Jack wrapped his arm around my waist. J: "Is this fine?" He whispered. Me: "Yeah, that's fine" I smiled to myself. I felt my feelings for him coming back. It had been quite a bit since I felt this way towards Jack. D: "Awwww!" Me: "Daniel!" I heard Jonah laugh in the background. Me: "Jonah?" I hadn't heard anything from Zach, which was surprising. I looked over at him, and of course, he was asleep. Me: "Jack, look at Zach" I heard Jack laughing. J: "I'm not surprised." I felt Jack running his fingers through my hair. I felt my eyes getting heavy, and Jack wrapped a blanket around both of us. I closed my eyes and drifted off into sleep.
