New year

Well i really love hate relationship so here goes nothing

"Dr L/N...we are terribly sorry that you have to be here on short notice and to cut down yoir new year celebrations"
"You don't have to say sorry it's good and its my job unlike most people" i answered thinking of Dr Stephen Strange who was enjoying the party with his little girlfriend Christin not even bothering to come when his patients needed him
Well basically im working under him not as his junior or anything but he is one of the best or you can say best doctor in this hospital even the city.and yeah if you are wondering he is super know it all and he is haughty about it
Narcissistic,even couldn't glimpse at my side always trying to Give loads of work for me and asking for me to be his second doctor in command in the Surgery well i would had feel elevated about it which I'm if he wouldn't constantly judge me around the hospital and million dollar Reply yes i do like him and i almost love him.

After i did the surgery i was changing back to in my new year eve party dress which is knee length glittery and a bit showy but I'm looking nice
"You did great out there L/n" i heard his baritone voice "you knew your job unlike others" he said while looking me with the intensity which kinda made me feel like that he heard what i said about him
"Oh Thank you so much Dr Strange and how strange of you to be here and complementing me" his nostrils flared like he is trying not to smile but there is a curve of smile but he straightens himself
"So shall we go the party?" he asked
"I..."I thought about it why should I be the one going home and sit around telly and watch Netflix
"Yeah let's go" i said But some disappointment was there in his face his grey blue eyes changed back he nodded and went on
We reached the party as soon we entered Christian was right there in her red tight dress of course she is beautiful and there is no chance of mine in front of her
But soon Dr Victor caught my eye and was trotting 
Towards me .he was a masculine man almost looking like Jaime Lannister
"I was looking for you Doc...come along now hope your case went well" he asked
"Yes she handled it very neatly" said Stephen looking directly into my eyes
"Hope you don't mind..if i take her away?"he asked with a laugh
To which Stephen got a tight laugh
And victor dragged me away
Its been almost midnight and honestly I'm having more fun than I thought so
But in an instant Stephen is by my side and just with excuse from others and telling me to come with him he hauled me along him and i compiled.
I was thinking about my patient that whether his condition is unstable or he suffering from his pain but as soon i started asking questions about his health the answer was that he was purely stable and under supervision of nurses

On entering the elevator i asked him about the real reason
"Stephen Would you tell me about your Strange behaviour? Why did you dragged me from there when i was actually having fun" i asked him crossing my arms over my chest
"I couldn't see you have fun" he said if as matter of fact but watching the look on  my face he added "with that victor or anyone there when..."

"When? Honestly You are allowed to have fun with your girlfriend But I can't have sometime for myself when there is certainly some attention from others"

He looked in my eyes then
"Certainly some attention? But Ofcourse you are noticing that "certain type of attention" from that victor but not seeing me the whole time" he said like a child
"Not seeing you the whole time, was your being omnipotent here and there and just observing my work and giving me tons of work while you are accessing the situations with your girlfriend  is that the way of you for me to notice you"

Apart from our heated conversation going on my heart couldn't seem to stop racing and comings out of the cartilage which suppress it but its really coming out as courage the cowardly dog show impersonation in a good way

The elevator dinged and we were still standing there
"The work is apart but i was always there standings right beside not in front of you not behind you but right beside you! You were the one not noticing where certainly I never saw you as my junior or under my work" with that we heard the count down going on

"I'm always trying to get your attention but do you ever noticed , the glances i seek, the little touches which my heart flutter like I'm some teenager but not a freaking Doctor"

At this he smiled one of his rarest one and he took step towards me almost coming close as his nose was almost touching mine looking at me for permission
As soon the happy new year was sang all over upstairs
He kissed me at first it was peck then grabbing me by my waist he pushed me up the railing of the elevator though we were really not in best position but he was carrying my weight effortlessly and kissing me properly

"I have been a daft to think you wee sensible" he said and turn to kiss me down again only to be stopped by my hand
"Did you just called me fool"
"No i called myself daft".
