After Baekhyun clocked out, he grabbed his phone, unplugging the charger along with it, and tucked the device into his pocket. He took his apron off and slung it over his shoulder before grabbing the iced drink in one hand. He walked up to the main floor and tossed the apron in the hamper and made his way from behind the counter.

It wasn't hard to miss the tall man with large ears sitting at a table in the farther corner of the cafe, his chin was resting in the palm of his hand as he stared out the large window that took up majority of the cafe wall. Baekhyun noticed the faint smile on that latter's lips as his lashes fluttered against the beaming sun. His dark hair fell into his eyes and if Baekhyun was being homest, it almost looked like a painting.

A bit too perfect to trust.

It was only then that the brunette realized he had been staring at Chanyeol. He quickly looked away and scoffed quietly, hating how Chanyeol distracted him so much.

He made his way to the table, greeting some of the regular customers who were seated at nearby tables with a gentle smile.

Once he made it to the table, he set the drink down with a bit of force, causing the man to jump, ultimately ruining the once perfect picture, and pushed it towards the taller, "Let's make this quick. I have to get home."

Chanyeol stared at Baekhyun and cleared his throat, "Let me take you home. I'm the one making you stay after all."

Baekhyun sat himself down across from Chanyeol and huffed out an annoyed breath. A part of him strongly wanted to turn down the offer, not wanting to spend any more time with the man than what was needed. But, the other part of him kept thinking about the guilt he felt when looking at his son just the night before. If he were to deny the help, he'd have to walk, only draining more time out of the day that could be spent with Sehun.

The brunette gave Chanyeol a glance, "But this is payment for giving me ride last night." He bit back the urge to say more.

Chanyeol shrugged, "This won't need payment, it'll be the final favor. Is that okay?" He asked, taking the cup into his hand before taking a sip from the straw.

Baekhyun watched as Chanyeol drank his coffee, something irking him at the way Chanyeol spoke, asking him for permission.

The twenty-seven year old sighed and closed his eyes. There was no point in remaining bitter, especially when he was going to have to hold up a conversation with the man for who knows how long, "Fine. But after that we don't hang out anymore, okay? No offense, but I do have a son to take care of."

Chanyeol smirked as he set his coffee back down on the table, "Do you bring your son out of the house?" He looked up at the man across from his and watched in amusement.

Baekhyun scoffed, folding his arms on top of the table, "Of course I do." He said matter of factly, hating how Chanyeol questioning the way he takes care of Sehun.

"Then bring him with you when we hang out. I've been told I'm good with kids." The raven haired man made sure to mention his skills to the brunette.

Baekhyun glared at Chanyeol.

Immediately, the taller raised his hands in defense and nodded, "Alright, alright. Taking you home is the last time we hang out."

Feeling content with the response, Baekhyun smiled, "Perfect. Now, is there anything specific you wanted to talk about?" Maybe it was a bit obvious he was too happy about no longer having to meet up with Chanyeol, but at this point, he didn't care. If being obvious was the only to get his point across, then he'd be the most obvious person in the world.
