The where: Formerly Washington, USA. Currently United Earth, Quadrant 4.
our main, cheery character wakes up on the right side of the bed
grabbing her holopad, hurriedly pushing snooze and schmoozing herself out of the comfy, comfy covers . realizing the date, she quietly gasps and rushes to her closet, suddenly not as tired. "first day of college" she whispers excitedly.
suddenly, she hears shouting coming from outside her cramped room, she waits, trying to hear through the wall. a few seconds later she hears two rapid fire shots. hurriedly, she grabs her air-scooter and opens her window, jumping out right as her door creaks open, flying out as she hears another shot behind her.

The when: 1/21/3001
The where: Supreme court of justice of Quadrant 4
-flashing to a few weeks later, we meet several other characters-
Eleanor, no matter how stricken with grief, realized how she must bring her mother to justice
meeting with Adrienne, she grabs her stack of files, sighing a heavy sigh, wishing she could just grieve in peace.
