Colby's pov
The night after the proposal*
"Hey guys" I yelled calling Sam, Corey and Jake into the living room
"Yes" Sam said
"Here" I said handing them three items
"What is this?" Jake asked
"Just read it" I said
"One way tickets to la?" Sam said mumbling
"What are these?" Corey asked
"Well if your up for it we're moving to la" I said
"Where are we going?" Sam asked "like where are we gonna live"
"Theres a three bedroom apartment that dad helped me pay for" I said and pointed to him leaning against the wall
"When do we leave?" Sam asked
"You have a lot of questions baby" I said getting up
"And that doesn't answer it" he said pushing on my chest to stop me from moving even though he wasn't really doing anything I still stopped
"Well since all of us are still technically enrolled in high school we leave this summer" I told them
"Your making us finish school" Jake said
"Yes and once we get there we can plan our wedding" I said kissing Sam on the lips
"You know what I love" Sam started to say
"Me?" I said
"No" he said And I gasped dramatically
"You don't love me" I asked
"That's not what I meant, I meant that's not what I was talking about"
"Ok so what do you love?" I asked
"The fact that we just got our apartment and we're moving out of it in six months" he said
"I know right don't get to comfortable there" I said smiling and walking away but I could still feel him rolling him eyes from behind me
"Hey babe" I heard his voice soft coming from beside me in our bed
"Yes honey?" I asked turning to look at him but he was looking at the ceiling
"How are we gonna pay rent in LA?" He asked
"Hey" I said making him turn to look at me I put my hand in his cheek rubbing it with my thumb
"Stop worrying ok" I told him
"But-" he started
"No there's four of us living in one apartment we'll figure it out we'll be ok" I told him trying to get him to stop worrying but being unsuccessful as I could still see him thinking about him and worrying
"If we need to we can move back into their house and save up some money and Corey and Jake are working and not paying so they'll have money" I told him
"Did you think about this?" He asked
"What do you mean" I asked him confused
"Well I mean I know we're living on our own right now but like it's just gonna be the four of us" he said "alone" I saw worry in his eyes maybe from leaving here
"Do you not want to?" I asked
"Fuck I don't know" he said removing my hand from his cheek as he went to get up
"Where are you going?" I asked
"I'm gonna go get some water" he said walking out and into the kitchen
It's been about ten minutes and he still wasn't back so I'm getting up and checking on him he wasn't in the bathroom and there was no sign of him in the kitchen I looked over to see the door to the balcony open
"Hey, I thought you were getting water" I said when I walked out shutting the door behind me
"Yeah I did" he said
"Hey if you really don't wanna do it then we don't have to I mean we can stay here" I told him
"No no I'm sorry I'm just- I'm scared"he said
"Of what?"
"Leaving I mean I've only been here I've never traveled anywhere else, like I don't know what it looks like out there in person" he said
"Oh don't you wanna find out?" I asked
"Yeah that's why I wanna go" he said
"Ok so we're going?"
"I never said we weren't" he said
"Come on it's cold" I said turning around and walking in side and I heard his footsteps following me back into the bed room
"Good night" I said as we got into bed but he didn't say it back he moved closer to me until his chest was pressed up against me and he pulled my arm over his waist
"Good night" he finally said
"God I love you" I whispered to him
"I love you too"
