Incubus-Don't Close Your Eyes COMPLETED

Chapter One

The cool wet water hit my face as I dived into the water. My mind was clear and calm. I swam so smoothly threw the water like a graceful swan. My head was going in and out of the water taking deep breaths when my head peaks above the water. Trying to keep my mind clear as I swam 5 laps around the pool. I hopped up on the pools side and propped myself up on my hands. I looked out at the pool and watched the water ripple. I was alone here this morning I always loved doing a morning swim before I started my day.

I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around me and headed towards the shower room. My wet foot steps followed behind me. Goose bumps started too creep across my body. The shower room was kind of cold and lonely today. You can tell that this gym was a older built. I was the only one here it was 4am I grabbed my soap and shampoo out of my locker and dropped my towel on the floor and took my wet swimming suit off and dropped it too the floor also. Turning on the shower and letting the warmth of the water warm my body. Steam started too fill the shower room and it was getting kinda hard to see. Washing my my hair and then my body with soap I heard a slight sound coming from the other side of the bathroom it sounded like running water from a sink.

"What the hell"

I rinsed off quickly and grabbed my towel and stepped out of the shower and looked around. The shower room was steamy and empty. I was the only one in there. Walking slowly and carefully to the sound of the running water. I reached were the water was coming from to find that the water was turned off but the sink was filled up with a rusty red color. Looked like the sink was clogged up with something. I stepped away slowly and ran back and got my clothes totally freaked out.

I know when I went in there I was alone.. right.. I was alone..

My mind felt confused and puzzled not really understanding what had just happen. I hurried up and got dressed and rushed out of there confused. I sat in the car for a while, I looked in the mirror, applied my make up and headed to the office. I have been working as a medical office assistant for a year now. I really enjoyed my job. It was better than what I was doing while I was going to collage I would go to collage in the day and a bartender by night. It was just a messy job. This job is definitely better but I still work with some messy people. But I tend to look the other way and mind my own business.

Pulling up into my parking space and getting out of the car I head up too the office tucking my long brown hair behind my ear. Looking at my watch and stepping into the elevator went to push the number 7 button a hand caught the metal elevator door and caught me by surprise. Stepping into the elevator was a tall attractive man. He looked like he was well built and had dark hair. He looked like he was maybe Italian. He looked at me a gave me a big enchanting smile. I felt what seemed like an electric shock of excitement pulsed through my body.

Look away Sam. Why are you starring at him like he is a piece of meat!

Smiling back and blushing I look away fast and he pushed the button for floor 6. We reach the floor and he spoke lightly.

"Have a great day miss"

His words rolled so smoothly off his tongue that it gave me a slight cold chill that went down my spine. I just stood there watching as he walked out and the elevator and the door closed once again. Down my arms was heating up and my hands were feeling warm and tingly. I hook my hands a little thinking that they may have falling asleep or something. I started to twist at my shirt this is something I do sometimes when I get overly nervous. Smoothing out my shirt the elevator door opened once again and stepped out at floor 7. I walked over to my desk and computer. I clicked the mouse and I began my work day. Flipping through peoples insurance information and printing out bills too mail off. My mind started too trail off too the handsome man that I saw today.
