"Oh wow, look at that house, Y/N," For the first time in hours, you finally pealed your eyes off of your phone screen, looking up to see where your mother was looking. Once you seen, your eyes glanced over to an all white house, it was huge compared to the others. There were more windows than walls, but it was protected by a metal fence, spikes at the very top to stop anyone from getting any ideas. Your eyes widened even more once your mother pulled into the driveway right beside it. Were living next to a house like this?  You thought, pulling at the lever to release the door. You stepped out, noticing that all the other houses look average compared to the rest of them. Your eyes kept wandering over to the house, until they connected with a a pair of bright gold eyes, which were glaring down at your from the second story of the home. His arms were crossed, a black medical mask covered the bottom half of his face.

You could feel the heat rising in your cheeks, you quickly grabbed the box out of the back seat of your mother's car, darting inside. Oh god I can't believe he seen me. You thought, setting the box in the kitchen.

"Oh, honey, you can go ahead and unpack your room. You know how I get about unpacking." Your mother smiled at you. She has severe OCD, which consisted of everything being perfect, as well as her setting up the table for dinner about five times, as well as relocking the doors about the same amount of times. She had a thing for doing things five times before it's perfect. It never really bothered you, growing up with her you were used to her unique ways. You only nodded at her, you didn't know which room was exactly yours. You didn't go with her nor your father when they picked out the house, you were in fact taking your tests for your freshman year of college. You didn't even find out you were moving until you got home and were told to get in the car. SO yes, today was a very hectic day for you.

It did make you feel a bit betrayed, not liking that they kept things away from you, which you should be used to since you grew up being told to, 'Stay in a child's place.'. You got to the top of the stairs, you walked around, checking out where the rooms until you found the one that had light blue walls, and your furniture in it. Boxes were stacked neatly on top of each other, black marker written perfectly labeled the boxes, clothes, pictures, etc.

You put your headphones in, going to your playlist and hitting shuffle as you started to unpack everything. You started with your clothes, putting them up in the closet or in the dresser, then continued with your pictures, you looked around your room, wanting to find the perfect place to place them. You decided to hang them around your window, you picked up the box and set it at the end of your bed, grabbing the thumb tacks and setting them up around the window. There was a movement in your peripheral vision, your eyes instantly looked out the window, where the male with gold eyes sat at a desk, you watched as he opened his laptop and started typing away. With you now being on the second floor, you could see that a greenhouse took up most of the roof. He must be a vegan. You thought, glancing back at him.

Your breathing caught in your throat when your eyes connected with his yet again, he was glaring at you yet again. You instantly dropped to the ground, his cold gaze sent chills down your spine. You couldn't really blame him for the look he gave you, you were staring at his house as if it was paradise. Not that you were unhappy with your new home, it was bigger than your old one, but your neighbors house looks like he came out of some futuristic movie. You started to crawl out your room, you were too nervous to see if he was still staring at you so instead of checking, you were now half way out of your room. Your father was on the last step, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion, his mouth dropped a bit before he asked,

"Y/N, what.. what are you doing?"
