Hello again! by the way, in this fanfic, Overhaul is like loaded with cash, unlike in the anime where he's a broke ass hoe, like me as well. :)

adding onto this-- did you guys literally forget he went to Shiggy bc he wanted more funds? pls-

It's been a few hours since you've made it home. You were yet again locked in your room, wrapped in your duvet. Your thoughts were running, wondering why you were so scared of of those men. You seen heros on T.V. in their costumes all the time, but how were there's different? Swinging your legs off the side of the bed, you walked over to your desk, the duvet was still wrapped tightly around you as you sat down.

You opened your laptop, opening the internet tab, then just sat there. Where do you even begin?  With your luck they were probably cosplayers for some latest horror manga that was released, and you just ran into them at the wrong time. You let out a sigh, dropping your head on the desk. Why does this even matter? You live right beside him, duh. You continued to have the mental fight with your brain, trying to level out the situation. Even if he was into something bad, why would he live in a nice neighborhood like this? Stereotyping? disgusting y/n.

You ended up shutting your laptop, turning in your chair and nearly jumping out of t when your neighbor was yet again, at his window starring in at you. You could feel your cheeks start to flush, but you wasted no time in grabbing your sticky notes, walking over to the window, you held up one finger before starting to press the pieces of paper to the window.

He cocked his eyebrow, the plague mask was now off of him and he was yet again wearing his black medical mask. His hands were in his pockets, casually waiting for you to get done putting up your message. To him, it felt like he was waiting forever until you were finally done. In all honesty, he didn't understand why he gave you the time of day. Why was he entertaining a outsider? a complete stranger? It made no sense why he stood at his window, watching some girl, wrapped in a blanket, sticking pieces of paper to her window. He had work to be done, yet here he is, postponing his work to see what she had to say. Did she know about the Shie Hassaikai? Was she going to go to the authorities? His right hand clenched around his cellphone, seeing the first letter she made was a C. If she was to ask if he needed to call the cops, then the new neighbors were going to move out faster than they moved in.

If she was going to go to the authorities, she would've done so by now. Or did she think he was a victim being held captive? It almost, almost made him laugh at the thought. Out of all his years of living, he's met plenty of people who were naive enough to think that the world was filled with nothing but sunshine, but boy were they wrong. Just as wrong as-

Cosplayers?

Where the fuck did she get Cosplayers? The grip on his phone was now gone, a wave of relief washed through him when he realized that he didn't need to make the phone call after all. Which also meant he didn't need to have any new diseases being brought into his home. He watched as she pointed her finger to him before using her finger to underline the word she created. He nodded, grabbing one of the dry erase markers he has on his desk and writing the word 'Yes.' on his window back at her.

He then proceeded to watch her take the sticky notes down, except for the 'CO' then proceeded to add 'OL' to the end of it, making the word 'cool'. He couldn't help but chuckle, grabbing a tissue and wiping the window of the marker, he made a mental side note to have the cleaning lady come by to deep clean the house, again.

The girl continued to pull the pieces of paper down, crumbling them up in a ball before giving him a cheesy smile. He pulled his hand out of his pocket, pointing his fingers as he brought them up to his mask, before swiping them up at an angle, signaling a smile he wasn't physically doing. He waited until the girl left the view of the window to leave himself, a sigh leaving his lips.

He exited his bedroom, going into the bathroom and grabbing the IPad propped on the counter. He pressed the shower button, before sliding his finger up to get the perfect temperature for the water. He continued to strip himself of his clothes, before stepping into the shower. The hot water beat down on his back, relaxing his tense muscles.

Get out of my head you idiotic girl.
