October 25th
Dear Diary,
It's been too cold for my liking, so George and I have been snuggling. The farmer and his wife shower us with compliments and their two little girls keep giving us hugs. I feel blessed. This is where I'm supposed to be. Duncan peed on me again, but what can you do? He's jealous, says George. The squash are gone. The farmer wheeled them away a few days ago (probably because they were so annoying). Oh, and remember when I wrote about the trees changing colors? Lately, they look like exploding peacocks. The leaves blow in all directions. A few trees are naked, as strange as that sounds. What a difference a week can make.
