hello :) SO this imagine is for my friend Rachel who doesn't have a wattpad account... but she asked for one like A WHILE ago.. and her birthday was yesterday, so i put this in her card :) hope you guys like it!

“Okay, everyone partner up and work on the problems on page twenty-seven and twenty-eight. If you finish early, then you can read the next few pages to get caught up on what we’re doing next.” My teacher wrote down the problem numbers on the board and told us to get to work.

There were some unamused sighs chorusing throughout the classroom, and soon enough, the sound of desks being turned around were audible and I realized I was just sitting at my desk staring into space.

I was knocked out of my thoughts when someone tapped me on my shoulder, “Rachel?”

“Whaa-?” I turned around to find my friend Charlotte smiling stupidly at me.

            “Wanna work together?”

I looked behind her at the lonely blue-eyed boy who yes, I’d developed some feelings for. Now was my chance to talk to him.

“Go work with Harry, he’s sitting all alone over there.”

Charlotte spun around and faced me, her eyes wide, “Rachel, you know I can’t.”

“Yes, now go! Leave my presence!” I pointed to the opposite side of the room and she huffed and walked over there nervously.

I stood up as well, grabbing my textbook and binder and walking over to the desk next to the blonde-haired boy.

“Hi!” I smiled happily at him and he looked at me, his face straight. All the sudden he turned a deep crimson color and he looked at his desk. “I’m Rachel.”

            “Niall…” he mumbled quietly.

            “Sorry?”

            “Niall,” he repeated, louder.

“You’re the new kid from Ireland, right?”

            He nodded, “Yup…”

“And aren’t you on the varsity soccer team?”

            He nodded again.

“I heard you scored like two goals. You know, it was on the announcements. It’s not like I asked anybody how you did. I mean, that’s kinda stalkerish, right?” I shrugged, “I think it is.”

He laughed a little bit and I smiled proudly, “So you want to work together?”

Niall looked at me, our blue eyes meeting each others, “Sure, why not?” He smiled sincerely and we got to work.

Somehow, we were able to finish with fifteen minutes left. We both thought we should read what the teacher told us to, but we decided against it.

“So you have no idea how much I want to go to Ireland,” I shook my head, sighing. “Trinity College is like, my love. Well, you know what I mean. Like I really wanna go there.”

            “Oh…” Niall nodded, “I don’t think I’ve been to it before…”

“It’s amazing. I’ve never been there before, but I know that’s where I really want to go to college.”

“That’s really cool,” Niall smiled, “I sorta miss Ireland…”

“Yeah, that must’ve been pretty hard, having to move here. I mean, New Jersey of all places.”

He shrugged, “It’s alright I guess… So do you play any sports?”

“Yeah, I’m on the tennis team,” I explained, playing with a piece of my hair.

            “Oh that’s cool.”

I nodded, loving this boy’s accent. It was so smooth and intriguing. It just made me want to have an accent like his.

“So who are you friends with?” Niall asked out of the blue.

I bit my lip, “Well in this class,” I pointed to my left where Charlotte was awkwardly sitting next to Harry working on the math problems, “That awkward girl sitting over there.”

Niall laughed but tried to cover it up so he wouldn’t get in trouble by the teacher, “The one with Harry?”

I turned back to face him, “Yup. So what about you, who are you friends with?”

Niall shrugged, “There’s some lads on the soccer team and do you know Liam Payne?”

I gasped, “Liam?! Yes! I sit next to him in history and he has to deal with my endless rambling. He enjoys it though. He knows he does.”

            Niall laughed again, “You’re funny…”

            I smiled proudly again, “I try… I try…”

I checked the clock above the door and was happy to see that I still had seven minutes left of class. More importantly, I had seven more minutes of talking to Niall.

He patted my arm, “So me and a couple lads were going to go out this weekend, would you like to come also?”

I felt my heart starting to race and before I knew it, I was nodding vigorously and literally bouncing up and down in my seat. “Yes! Yes! Yes!”

“Rachel! Get to work!” my teacher reprimanded. I looked down at my textbook, pretending I was actually doing the work.

“I’d love to,” I whispered, looking up at Niall sitting next to me.

“Awesome,” the Irish-lad replied softly as well.  I sighed happily, knowing that I might actually have a chance with this boy.

The ringing of the school bell knocked me out of my thoughts and I jumped up, closing my textbook and stuffing my binder back into my backpack. Niall caught me at the door and slipped a small piece of paper into my hand before walking off down the hallway to his next class.

I walked in the opposite direction from him, slowly opening up the note to find a ten digit number written down.

            Call me this weekend, love.

            -Niall

I sighed happily. The only thing I could think of was, I did it.

lol yes that Charlotte was me. ;) ahahaha well comment!! thanks for reading <3 :)
