I yawned and crawled into my bed with Niall. He had been my boyfriend for a couple months now and he still never kissed me. It made me start to feel as if he didn’t want to kiss me. Or maybe he was just waiting for the perfect moment…

            “Goodnight Maureen,” he smiled, pulling me into his arms. His grasp was strong, but gentle at the same time.

            “Goodnight Ni,” I replied burying my face in his chest. His steady heartbeat lulled me to sleep.

            The next morning I woke up and Niall was gone. I yawned and sat up in bed, looking around my room. I got out of bed and went over to my mirror. I looked like a wreck. My reddish hair was in knots and my light skin looked even paler with the late morning sunlight hitting it from my bedroom window.

            Niall walked back into my room with his hair wet. He ran a towel through it, ruffling it with his hands afterwards. I just loved how he would mess up his hair like that. It was so cute. He was so cute. Everything about him was cute.

            “Hey,” I said smiling.

            “Good morning love, why don’t you go wash up then we can go out to breakfast.” Niall smiled at the thought of getting food and playfully started to push me to my dresser to get clothes.

            “Okay…” I said grabbing a pair of clothes out of my dresser and leaving Niall in my room, looking around.

            I brushed my teeth, washed my lightly freckled face, and attempted to make my hair look somewhat presentable. I changed into my clothes which consisted of a pair of dark skinny jeans and a t-shirt from Delia’s. I decided against putting makeup on. After about fifteen minutes I walked back into my room to find Niall sitting on my newly made bed. I looked around and saw my night table was cleared off too. He stood up with a huge smile on his face.

            “Hey babe,” Niall said smiling.

            “Thanks Ni,” I gave him a hug, “You didn’t have to clean up…”

            He shrugged and kept his arms around me, “You look beautiful today,” he whispered. I laughed. I ran my hands through his blonde hair, loving how close I was to him.

            “Aww, you’re sweet,” I replied.

            “No really,” he took my chin and I looked up at him, “You always do.”

            I blushed and he leaned down. His lips pressed against mine. Oh my god! I thought. This was my first real kiss. It may sound kind of pathetic considering that I’m nineteen, but I just never found the right guy. When Niall came, I knew he was the one. He was just so sweet and caring and made me break out of my shell. The two of us were able to laugh together over anything and everything. My lips pressed against his and he held me at my waist. My arms went around his neck. I didn’t want to let go. This moment was too perfect. I stood on my toes so that we were almost eye level. He chuckled to himself and kissed me again. The kiss was electrifying. It sent tingles all around my body. It became more passionate with every second that passed by. He pulled away, smiling.

            I blinked and looked at the floor blushing.

            “I’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to do that,” Niall whispered. I looked up and smiled at him.

            “I was starting to feel as if you didn’t want to kiss me…” I mumbled and he pulled me into another hug.

            “Why would I not want to kiss the most beautiful girl in the world?”

            I shrugged and he kissed my forehead. He took my hand and brought me downstairs. I was so happy I finally kissed him.

                “Now let’s go get some breakfast before we both die of starvation!” Niall laughed and pulled me outside to his car.

            “Okay!” I couldn’t help but laugh too. Before I was able to walk around to the passenger’s seat, Niall stopped me again and gave me a peck on my lips.

            “Thank you for being mine,” he whispered in his thick Irish accent.

            I winked at him, “Any time.” With that, I skipped around to the passenger’s seat and hopped inside next to Niall before he pulled out of the driveway and hit the road.
